Hey! I have a 94 Suburban:) I'm currently in New Hampshire. My fiancé and I are leaving the UP by April, which is bittersweet. It's great up here, too. However we're on a proper homestead here in the northeast. We're keeping our camp right off Lake Superior, so there's always an excuse to go back! Also, you pack like my fiancé... planning for just about everything, I love it!

@@FollowTheCompassNorth It's chock-full of things you'll only find while you're there. I've become an honorary Yooper, now I'm transitioning to a Granite Stater! Very nice to learn more about you and your family. I'm so happy you mentioned your wife is doing blacksmithing, it reminded me to sign up for some classes:)

last year my new rescue dog and I cleared over 1500 miles hiked and walked. This year we are shooting for roughly the same but doing some longer back wood hikes.

It’s absolutely disgusting, unacceptable, and totally absurd that the UP is not Wisconsin. The whole history is absurd where the battle consisted of one shot fired (not at anyone) and no casualties. If Michigan wants to be the mitten state, give Wisconsin the UP cause with that UP you’re sure as hell no mitten with that peninsula. Great video though very enjoyable

It should be its own state. The lifestyle and values of the people there are different from both lower Michigan and Wisconsin.
