I think the recruiting tradition of the high school train em up is overrated in present day CF you need 4 to 5 seasons to build elite caliber out of high schoolers and most Coaches especially Deion Sanders won’t be given that longevity to reap the spoils in the success of that harvest like a Matt Rhule. If Coach Prime isn’t successful by next season they will ask him to leave. Sports commentators were attacking his ability to coach in the mid of last season and still are, he has no choice but to utilize the portal as a free agency tool to get specialized players that will go all out to compete We’ve all just witnessed 3 freshmen high school types in Edward’s, McClain and McCaskil run from competition

Rb Hood is a sleeper as a freshman..Seaton lost weight at IMG to get stronger and quicker..Hood's offers were big time after sophomore year and injury..FSU rebuilt through the portal..Look at eligibility of the transfers most aren't only available for 1 year..

Kevin, give it a break about the HS players. You are stuck on the ole school way. It's been said and, indeed, CP can't go recruit like other coaches because the scene will be difficult. Saben can go to a school or neighborhood and nothing happens. If CP goes that side of the community would shut down as soon as it's heard he's there. Stop measuring CP with other Coaches it's not going to ever be the same.

I believe the weasel that recorded the lovker room is a mole and saved that to attempt to sabotage their season. He wasn't gambling bc he didn't have any ends. He's just mad that he wasn't good enough to start at Colorado and didn't want to play 2nd string has more than likely transferred to one of the G5 schools already. Only a mole does that. The coaches can't monitor every single thing. Which makes me believe the coaches had left already, or it was the weekend. Yes, they were stupid for doing it, But college teams are in vegas all the time for championship games, so what do they expect?!
