I love your szechuan fried chicken! My Japanese boyfriend loves spicy food and I’ve made this dish twice now. I slightly alter it as the spices are so difficult to find in Japan, but it’s so delicious, that I have made it again and again (I use the same spices just not as much!) I crank up the spice a little with store bought spicy red chili paste (a Chinese brand!) I add some togarashi peppers in it too and it’s AMAZING! I don’t have a wok but god would I be happy to have one! ;-; I make your recipes in a regular non stick pan!

Mandy! I have so many to choose from but I have to go back to the recipe that had me discovering you and knew you are someone I can depend on for other recipes, too. It was the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Now I make it at least once every other week but usually once a week. And my boyfriend and I both look forward to the day of that week that we plan to make it. From the first moment I knew it was something special when it tasted as good as it was from the street market of Taipei (I followed your recipe to a T). My boyfriend also loves your sesame chicken!

It’s so hard to pick a favourite recipe as your videos have pretty much transformed how we eat! The vegetable chow mein, pork dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, biang biang noodles, northern style crispy pork and scallion flavoured noodles are all things I cook monthly now! But if you held a gun to my head and I HAD TO choose, I think it would be the Sichuan chilli oil. The first recipe of yours that I ever cooked was Dan Dan noodles and I made this sauce as part of that. Now, I put it on almost everything. I think I’m on batch number 6! My mum and partner are both hooked on it too. It’s so simple and so good! Thanks for all that you do. You have genuinely changed how I cook! Next thing I’m making is the chive dumplings.

Hi I’m Alexandra from Australia. Where do I start? You have demystified Chinese cookery for me and your recipes are my go to when I don’t know what to cook. I’ve made so many of them now. My absolute favorite is the ‘better than takeout chicken wonton soup’. I just love the oil that is flavored so beautifully with all those aromatics and garlic and onions! I drizzle it on so many other dishes. I have made the wontons on quite a few occasions now for visitors and they always get rave reviews. I pair them with you finely chopped chicken stock recipe and I feel like I’m eating in an authentic Chinese restaurant. It takes time and I love the process. My local Asian grocery is amazed at all the Chinese sauces and goodies I’m buying to make your recipes. Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful traditional recipes. I love it that you give tips from your grandma. 😊 I would love one of your woks!!

Mandy, I first encountered your recipe video last year when I was craving for 酸辣粉 at night. Since that video, I've been following your channel, and have tried out many of your recipes with your wok. They always tasted beyond my expectations. Whenever I made them to share with my family, they always loved them and I felt happy watching them expand their food world. Consequently, it's really hard to pick just one single recipe out of all these but if I had to, I would pick your beef broccoli. This dish is so easy to make yet it tastes fantastic.
