Күн бұрынThe University of the Philippines Los Baños Choral Ensemble performs Three Kalinga Chants arranged by Nilo Alcala II at the 10th Orientale Concentus International Choral Festival Singapore 2017.
The group won Gold II Award and was hailed as the Category Winner for Mixed Choir Category A2.

Yes! The chants (Wiyawi, Salidumay, and Mambayu) are based on the music traditions of the Kalinga tribe who is part of the Igorots in the Cordilleras. 🙂
