I think we need a video on where it is suitable to pause within a single Ayah. In terms of these pause symbols like قلي صلي ج etc. I noticed these are sometimes set ignoring that pausing between every Ayah is a Sunna for example or ignoring pausation which has been taught by the companions like: {وما يعلم تأويله إلا الله * والراسخون في العلم * يقولون} In this case we could stop either on the first star or the second. But it’s never printed in the Mushaf…

Assalamu-alaykum, brother. Great video! This really taught me some things about the basmala and isti’atha. However, I have some questions about (صدق الله العظيم). Do we always say it whenever we finish reciting a surah? And, do we say it whenever we are interrupted with our recitation?

as far as I know, sadaqa allahu al Adheem, isn't a sunnah and there is no hadith or verse which says that. But Allah knows the best.

Wa alikom asslam brother, Alhamdulilah. .. Jazakum Allahu khairan for your nice words. May Allah accept the efforts amen. As for صدق الله العظيم it is possible to say it, but NOT ALWAYS, so not every single time, and you canNOT believe that it was done by the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم because he didn't. So there is no harm in it, as long as you don't religiously say it every time you stop, or in prayer. Best option > don't say anything, just like our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم used to do. Thank you for another wonderful video. You have a small mistake in the graphic that appears from 2:58 till 3:48 - you have the wrong harakah on the second word of the isti'atha, making billahu instead of billahi.

Ma sha Allah. May Allah reward u for ur efforts. Just 1 question, after finishing surah "Al-fatiha" we say "Ameen" Although it's not a verse. Do we apply the tajweed on it? And is it possible to link it to the next surah in prayer?

Asslamo alikom, Yes, You should apply Tajweed rules on "Amen" as well. The sunnah is that after you say amen, you take a breath and then start reciting from the following surah. Asslamo alikom

Ya Ustadh I have question pls answer me, I started to read Sura Baqarah first with Isti'adah & Basmalah until 10 verse only moving forward to ayah 24 then stop, again move to ayah 42 then stop. Now move to ayah 49 until end. My question do I need to recite Basmalah or Isti'adah before moving my recitation in different ayah's with same surah???

AssalamuAlaikum wa Rahmatullahi wabarakatu what about when you are in prayer. After Al Fatiha do you say Audhubillah himinashaitanir rajeem and Basmalah or just Basmalah and Surah?

Wa alikom asslam, In prayer, you say isti'adha + basmala (not out loud) and then start reciting al-fatiha (out loud/ to yourself) depending on which prayer it is of course. This issue is more related to fiq'h more than Quran recitation.

It is allowed in other Qira'at, but I'd recommend you continue using the Basmala. Why miss out after all 😉

Basmala is an aya. So if you start reciting the Quran, you have to complete it. If you use basmala in different situations, other rules will apply, like before eating we should say "bism Allah" not the full basmala.

Asslamo alikom Yes, there is. Basmala is an aya in the Quran, and just like we cannot insert a random aya anywhere in the Quran, we surely cannot add basmala to surah At-Tawba. Asslamo alikom

Tawaffa توفى has many meanings, the most common is ''To take'' so for example we say : - Tawaffa Haqqahu توفى حقه means ''He took his right'' - Tawaffa 'Amalahu توفى عمله means ''He finished his work'' - Allahu tawaffa ruhah hada Ashakhs الله توفى روح هذا الشخص means Allah took this person's soul ....

@@draneeque3698 If you continue the verse says : 3;55 إِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَـٰعِيسَىٰٓ إِنِّى *مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ* وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ So just from this verse you can know that ''إني متوفيك'' means ''I will take you'' because after that it says '' و رافعك إلي'' = I will raise you to Myself'' + These Ayats confirm that Esa (peace be upon him) didn't die : Quran 4;156-158

Bismillah is the text, basmallah is the name of the text. For example, subhanallah is the text, but tasbih is the name of the text. Or alhamdulillah is the text, and tahmid is the name of the text
