Learn how to paint trees with these three easy steps. Whether you're painting a pine tree, an autumn tree, or bare tree in the winter, I think approaching them in a similar way to this can work well in most scenarios.

Dagger striper - shrsl.com/2aqvg
Oil Paints -
Titanium white: shrsl.com/1qfwi
Cad red: shrsl.com/1qfwq
Cad orange: shrsl.com/1qfwu

Professional lighting setups I recommend for artists:

Used with 4ft shop light fixture
Or
5000k GU10 LED 94+ CRI bulbs: amzn.to/31lXDvn
Used with a track light: amzn.to/2yF8rIZ
My compact setup I use on the go:
5000k LED 90+ CRI bulbs: amzn.to/2Yy1Nn1

I’ve been struggling so much with painting things that used to be easy for me. I really love this video and feel like it’s going to be so helpful. Sometimes I just need someone to talk through the steps and show me even when I already know how to do something. Can’t wait to be able to try these out when I have a bit of free time. Thank you so much for sharing. These focused videos on specific techniques are so helpful.

@@chuckblackartHey, since I have your ear let me say, I did follow your steps and have painted oil over acrylics. Since I am working on about 6 pictures at once I have lost track of "What am I looking at? Oil or Acrylic?" Now I plan to write kinds of like a log keeping exact track of what paint I'm looking at...but in the meantime, do you know a way to tell which it is.? And how many days should I let the acrylic dry before putting the "sealer" on? I did it on one picture and then painted the oil and ended up with a big muddy cloud...as I lay in bed that night, I remembered that it was done on top of the fixative - I got up and wiped it all away...it was such a lesson...I was overjoyed at how it saved my picture. (BTW I did buy 3 of those blade brushes and like them very well!)

Absolutely stunning, Chuck!! Thank you so much for sharing your talents! I'm an intermediate painter, leaning more towards beginner-intermediate. My son asked me to create a sunRise, a waterfall, and a mountain scene around in April. He sure doesn't ask for much, does he? Lol. Anyways! I'm struggling because I'm relatively new, and I learn by watching videos but can't find exactly what I need all in one video. I prefer acrylics so far . Would you do this kind of painting for us?...well...for me especially :) Keep doing what you do, Chuck. You were born for this. Thanks kindly!
