DOT has a pamphlet that has a list of the code numbers that are on the sides of tank cars and for trucks. Those numbers will tell you what is inside. The numbers are on all sides of the tank. Because if an accident happens no matter what side it is on first responders know what they are dealing with. Also the number signs are different colors. Red for flammable. Green for gases. @@IamValentina66 they're also listed by classification as to type of hazard. These include flammable,oxidizer, corrosive, toxic, + others. You can Google it. In the search line write UN placard symbols. These symbols are used internationally.

Slow down, there, CP...gotta see that unique Engelhard covered hopper @1:57!! Always love those Selkirk trash trains "gassin' on it"...highb-a-a-l-l-l-l-l-l M634!! Very cool "big porch alligator-style" SD50 cruising by @11:47...great look @11:48 when you "pause" the video...Oak Ridge "boys" always nice and graffiti-free on the trash moves. M367 does Selkirk proud with a SpongeBob unit trailing @16:35..."nice" of the graffiti "artists" to keep their crud below the blue line of (ex-) Amtrak boxcar @18:12. Oops...too bad you swung the camera "early" on "Eye" 165's rear end...a Santa Fe covered hopper whipped by @21:11... 😯👍👍
