Thank you. This has driven me nuts forever. I’ve basically stopped using my cheap loop pedal, because I can’t get a smooth transition between the start and stop (or the Reloop) point. I keep checking to see if someone has come out with a new loop pedal that allows some basic loop editing. Simply “closing” the loop, seems like it would be a simple option (like editing a video clip length on your iPhone), but no one seems to include that function. At least the Auto On with the Boss Pedal gets half of it handled. I should also mention that because of bad back issues, I jerk my pedals on a waste high music rack. It’s very sturdy and eliminates my having to bend over to tweed settings. But no matter how fast I try to mash the button on my Loop pedal, it is always awkward. Even if someone made a loop pedal with a remote switch, it would be an improvement. Thanks again. ~B

Awesome video as always and thanks Ben. Quick question, when you enabled auto record on the 500, and hit record, play/rec and stop flash to show ready. I only get the play/Rec button flashing. What is different?

Hi Ben! Your videos have been really helpful for me. In fact I recently bought the headrush looperboard and I'm having so much fun with it. Do you know if there's an auto record function on the HeadRush Looperboard? I sometimes begin recording my rhythms and stepping on the button and playing my first beat at the exact same time seems to be something I won't be able to do correctly every single time I play live with all my songs. Any tips?

Hey man!!! Great videos! I have a question on syncing via MIDI. I have RC-300 and KORG Kaoss Pad 3. I want to take midi signal from boss midi out and to control Korg Kaoss beat tempo. How can I sync BPM in my loopstation loops with beats in Korg? Please, please, please!! I really need your help! I've read BOTH Boss and Korg manuals, but it tells nothing (((((((((((

Hi! I’m having trouble when I start playing, if I start and my first Rhythm track / layer is out of time , I can’t erase that first track from the loop. Second loop and up no issue. Problem is to play live, the first track has to be perfect every time. I would then have to stop the loop and backing rhythm and hit the up and down arrow and then start again. I’ve been playing live for years and it’s never perfect but you keep playing thru mistakes. Can u tell me if there is a way around this I can’t find any info online on it.

Thanks mate, I’m torn between getting an rc500 and an rc505. Is the the sound quality on the 505 that much worse? I’d prefer more tracks if possible. Any thoughts most welcome!

Hi, I was wondering the same. The 505 is now improved 505mkll and is now 32 bit instead of 16 bit. I know its a year late but Im glad I didn't buy the 16 bit verson. Good luck
