Except the armour shown here doesn’t transform, it’s just a big version of his regular suit. He wouldn’t canonically have armour that transforms from a car until the new Hulkbuster Model 52.

Yes the transformers do exist in marvel well in official crossovers anyway and they were originally produced by marvel comics

I think the extremis virus allowed him to remotely control multiple armors at once. Maybe Tony is worried about the suit being hijacked so he doesn't use a new teleprescence armor?

In the. Animated series Tony was able to power itself through the absorption of heat. Fighting the Mandorian while suffering from the magic effects of the anti-technology field that knocked out all the electricity.

Great picks! Didn't know about the transformers one 😮. But gonna mention some I thought were wierd or just chopped up to comic book logic: - the Strange buster/Magic armor - The wierd destroyer armor he made while in asgard - The other Uru metal armor he made in asgard 😑 -the Godkiller/celestial armor (may be 2 different armors) - The endosym armor (favorite one) -The planet buster (why does he need this?!?) I could go on but I'll stop here. Tony makes a lot of wierd stuff

The Telepresence Armor is the shit! It could life EIGHTY TONS because there's a super robotic endoskeleton inside instead of a human. It's also designed by the amazing Kevin Hopgood - who also created the Modular Armor, Hulkbuster and War Machine!

How exactly were these the weirdest? All three were practical given the situation he was in. The ultimate armor may have had really adaptive components but it was what he needed. His car transforming into what is essentially a "hulk buster" armor would make having it practical and always on hand. When he was physically paralyzed, and not mentally dead, a remote controlled armor makes sense.

Yeah no, you got Ultimate Iron Man all wrong. The story you told is from an in-universe TV show. Ultimate Iron Man's real story is he got a brain tumor that could kill him at any moment, so he became Iron Man to use whatever remaining time he had left doing good in the world

Because it's not Tony's armor. It's Dr. Doom's, purchased from Tony. Doom keeps it in a satellite orbiting the earth in case of emergencies, but gives it to Dr. Strange to save his life after he is poisoned, and Strange forgoes the green cloak for his own magical cloak.
