Tenants at the Apex apartments said conditions at the property have not improved despite the property owners and Clark County reaching an agreement in April.

I would just stop paying. Send a letter certified mail listing the issues and say if this isnt taken care of in 2 weeks then i will be withholding rent until it is fixed to satisfaction

These tenets have not paid since 2018.... they have balances over 50k.... none ask for maintenance they break into bored up units and sub lease them out to other druggies when maintenance dosne try to fix issues they are not let in or threatened with guns.... the people that live there are the problem not the company..... funny how their other properties all around the US are fine .... this specific place they've been asking these squatting losers to leavefor years and they refuse to and as soon as courts get involved all the sudden they have all these issues and news are called.... the damage you see is literally caused by them.....

Yup this was for the covid relief funds, they never had any intent to keep the property up. In think they are trying to make people leave so they can level the place and put up a new build. So why invest in the old building? Its hard to evict people to build a new building.. but if they leave on there own. Its in a pretty prime location not to far from a golf course and the strip.

When people are depressed from being disrespected by the landlord the property goes down. If you collect rent from people its your job to provide the best living conditions as much as possible in turn the renters will respect the property more if not you have this kind of situation. Don't know if you can sue a landlord for not providing healthy living condition in Nevada. There needs to be some legal way to force mangers of properties to do there jobs.

Funny how every time a poor person talks about how the world should work, it's always unilaterally in their favor. Things should just be cheaper in price, higher in quality, convenient, accessible, all at the expense at the person providing it to you lol.

Slum lord laws need to be put into effect. Nobody should live in conditions like that. It’s demeaning and downgrading and if an inspector does an inspection they could deem it unsafe and the whole building could be condemned.

How hard is it to buy a window ac from Costco . The 12k btu from Midea which is very efficient goes on sale each year for 279. Just spackle the hole. Move if you don’t want to move is a place like that . Why love need these conditions even if the landlord is at fault .
