When you step inside Bec Berrell’s family home it’s hard not to immediately feel relaxed. From the wide hallway to the high pitched roof, gas strut window and views to the pool and garden, this home exudes the “holiday at home” vibes Bec laid out on her vision board.
Bec, a Three Birds Reno School graduate, welcomed Lana inside her family’s new home for a room-by-room tour. You’ll be blown away by this beautiful beach house as Bec explains how she combined the practical and the pretty to create her dream home.

From the front you would never think it’s such an expansive house. It’s really very cosy and then then the wow factor as you go inside. I also love how in these designs the bed rooms aren’t MASSIVE, I feel that creates a cosy feel and the living space has the grand feel for family and entertaining.

@@catherineinsch3002 Color does not make a house automatically cosy. Many people prefer the "clean" look of white. I lived in a really dark home before and I will ALWAYS prefer a house that is bright and full of light over a dark one. its all subjective

@@catherineinsch3002I agree with you I have migraine when it hits me I am super sensitive to light. If there is too much white I need coolers for my eyes all day long.

Obviously everything in the house is beyond luxurious and so beautiful and I know I should be commenting on the custom cabinets or the sauna… but I must say I am a HUGE fan of the charging stations in the mudroom! As a firm believer in devices out of bedrooms, this is such a winner and I will be stealing this genius idea 😊

A nice idea but I would be worried about leaving a mobile phone plugged in and left unattended overnight. They have been known to set alight if they overheat 😕

@@cheekyllamacreations Actually the fires are caused by phone chargers being left switched on in the outlet, but not plugged into a phone. The other cause is placing your phone under your bed covers or pillow whilst it's being charged, as this can cause over heating. Charging stations are actually safer.

@@MadDog_Rules Thanks for your opinion but I’ve read lots of articles that state phone batteries can overheat if they are overcharged. Also, these days there is no really need to leave a phone charging for many hours overnight as they charge very fast, it’s a waste of electricity. Anyway, you do you and I’ll do me and hopefully we’ll all be safe from a house fire caused by a phone battery. Have a great day 👍🏼💐

@@cheekyllamacreations Not my opinion, it's actually a fact. In todays phones they have lithium-ion batteries, these have a protection circuit that prevents excessive pressure build up and cuts off the flow of ions when the temperature is too high. Fires occurring with mobile phones are extremely rare. You have a much higher risk of getting hit by lightning, also a fact. Causes for fires are what i said above. Cable damage is also a cause.

I love this house it's like a breath of fresh air at every turn it's a massive house that doesn't really look massive until you walk in I'm almost afraid that the guest didn't wear a white dress the house makes you want to put on your best white outfit there was nothing I could say bad about this house anywhere and that's rare for me it's all about consistency and good flow fabulous 👌
