Half an hour out of Brisbane, overlooking the 13th hole of the Brookwater Golf Club, sits the glorious ‘Casa Blanca’ - the newly built home of Bianca and David Mulligan and their three young children.
Lana and Erin flew to Brisbane for a tour of the family’s new home and were blown away by the spacious floorplan and all the fabulous features that make this home a standout. Bianca’s a graduate of both Three Birds Reno School and Three Birds Styling School and there are no prizes for spotting the Three Birds inspo throughout the home.

Would so love to see a transformation by a Reno School student, who has done something that is more affordable like a townhouse or an apartment. Most of these amazing houses are so out of my budget😭

I understand that the home owner attended your online school / courses and took inspiration from those resources but I felt like the 2 hosts were relating too much of themselves with her design choices instead of appreciating how unique she’s made it and for her to explain her own path / processes

This design is absolutely stunning! She's really talented! Sure, there are some elements from our lovely three birds, but it has many more features which are unique to her own design, which I find stunning. Honestly, I would love to design my house with her. Especially the kitchen!

This is exactly how to do it! Take the best bits and pieces from everywhere and put your own personal spin on it. I loved how the kids bookcases brought consistency to their rooms as well, great find! I'm going to watch this about 10 more times now 😄

Absolutely gorgeous🥂. To add some warmth and soul I would include some antique pieces. They can be clean lined in keeping with the home, and would really anchor the spaces and add some magic 🪄

Three Birds this was a good idea having homeowners demonstrate decorating ideas from your show. The owner did an excellent job, but the only thing I saw that was wrong was the railing when you go upstairs since they have a small child in the home. Later, as the child grows this could result as a problem (child pulling on the rails), could be dangerous. I'm glad to see that Three Birds have returned to KZfaq.

It came to me: The Three Birds style is really celestial, living in the clouds. Somehow I think the Aussie light allows for all that white. I tried painting some rooms white here in my home in N America, and it was like living in snow and ice, especially polar in mid-winter. Nope. Not workin' here. I like the honesty you Three Birds gals have -- open, just the right amount of tough, shoot from the hip, not over-sensitive or fruity about your work. Blessings

I would consider choosing paints that are warmer whites. Even some pure white colors are cool. Happy designing!

@@Nikki-ks6wi Thanks, yes, tried many whites, colors. Ended up with cool white wainscoting and warmer colors above -- kind of an Italian villa yellow in the kitchen. Best I could do for the light/space though I would prefer a completely clean, white Birds'-space. Easier on the mind.

What an incredible home, it got me itching to build again. I wish the house plan was available to purchase. You couldn't get a better sales job for the reno school😃
