Some notes, because I love thresh top. If you play draft matchups you're looking for are melee focused champs that deal physical damage. You can stack armor runes and deal with MR a bit later, genuinely PTA is better for trading, especially since grasp is common on other laners and it scales a bit better on them since your armor is gonna be lower early on. Save your Q for things like Camille stun. Jax stun, garen Q. Stopping somebody else from trading efficiently and then using flay to distance them from you is always better than just waiting for the right moment to pull them under tower. Thresh has amazing on hit scaling, and his passive will do double your AD in magic DMG plus your souls, so while you can just slap people until you're roughly 80-100 souls in, waiting a couple seconds to boost the damage or at least casting between autos does more DMG. Especially since unless you're building for full on hit you're not attacking that fast. Edit: also thresh flay has a side hitbox as well as starting at the opposite side of where you point it. Don't be afraid to use it if somebody is right on top of you, and usually if a champ doesn't have any follow-up after their dash you can safely pull them towards you with it to interrupt the dash AS LONG as you catch them with the edge of it. Since they still land outside of basic attack range (varying on matchup) just be mindful of your positioning, gl boys, don't feed.

The funny thing is, is that this build stacks armour, ad, ap and hp! Meaning he becomes a hybrid ad/ap tank with high armour and hp becoming THE tankiest champ in league!
