When the fish are getting ready to make big moves, they have to eat big and we caught them eating. Don't use bottom baits fishing the jetties but it's nice for a change. Cut ladyfish has to be my favorite bait for big redfish, crab is also pretty nice but small guys like to nip at it.

Damn dude, I been watching your channel for the last two years and you are by far the one fisherman I admire. Saving that red from far off the jetty and not making a big deal about it speaks volumn. To prevent flesh from getting stuck in the vent tool, poke the fish at a 45° angle. That’s how syringes are stabbed into vials so the rubber stopper doesn’t clog the needle.

Where do you place the vent tube in relation to the Reds body? That was very impressive, jumped in, vented him and got the release. I like a conservationist who thinks in the future.
