You ca n never trust people to go and save the fish, because telling everyone the location is bound to attract some people who just want to catch and harvest the fish, all it takes is one group of people with nets to completely wipe out the fish populations in the local area.

Depending on the distance between those cut off ponds and flowing water id be throwing a net and running them over to the water or dumping them in a giant tank, you can get a giant 100-300 gallon water tank pretty cheap, fits in my truck bed and id ferry fish back and fourth.

it’s good to save the fish when you find em and this is a fantastic video but it’s not a tragedy that the shifting tides make and remake these stranded ponds ad infinitum. It’s just nature. Just like the freeze, we humans tend to think we have more control over nature and natural cycles than we actually do. Them ponds is fantastic food for gators, coons, coyotes, bobcats, and ocelots! and birds!

One of my favorite KZfaq anglers for awhile now . Crazy how the frozen winter killed off a lot of the Texas fishery now these naturally formed ponds and mini body of water are soon to evaporate to an extent . I definitely would contact local wildlife commission . I would think after that winter you guys had they would probably be the ones to want save what fishery you have left . Not saying there is not an abundant amount but I see all the dead fish during the winter . It was insane . Reminded me of red tide here in south west Florida . Way to make an impact Coop! This is not a small feat or win . What you are doing is major !
