3 problems going forward into the 2020s - Social media has a lot of good potential but it's a double edged sword that is doing us harm. Specifically the youth. Teen self harm has been on the rise since 2014. Its hijacking your attention and its as addictive as some drugs. - The us economy will collapse soon. Early economic indicators are telling us we are heading into another collapse. We are in the later stages of an economic bubble and it will be coming to an end in the next couple years. - Greed. Greed of money. Greed of power. Our stupid monkey brains cant process greed. While most of us are inherently good we are so easily corrupted by power and wealth.

Everybody can have an opinon. However, it is kinda strange to someone put some effort to come here and say some negative things (it can be your opinion, but you can always find a nice way to put it, so even the ones that does not aggree with you can respect whatever you're saying). 1,4 K people likes the song, the band and the style, 69 don't......move on.

This song is a great example of why I love this band. Lyrically, the song isn't much. Heck, it's kinda repetitive. But it's sung with so much passion and energy, that you can't help but be moved, physically and emotionally.

I remember when I was 14 years old obsessed with thrice, I've always been a huge fan of deadbolt and to awake and avenge the dead. I know it's a decade later now from that time but thrice will always have a place in my life lol

Thank you to all your dedication and all the meaning behind your well placed words that become well arranged with sound. Thrice has a long way to go on their journey and Ill be happy to follow them through their journey. I cant sum up everything I want to say with a coment. Thank you for let in us interpret your songs in a way we feel it suits us to say this is what you really mean to say. I feel like a child that you are telling me a good night story and later I feel there are really strong meanings to this well arranged words you speak of.

Love the song. Can't figure out how riding around in a car or walking through the hills in slow motion is holding up a light. They could have shown these people protesting, or if they wanted to avoid controversy, adopting pets and helping old ladies cross the street.

Aruarian Flow - yea some great bands do mature...but it's never again what you liked them for in the first place. It's all just the preference your brain likes. I love old thrice...this song is boring as hell to me. If they started off sounding like this...I would have never liked them. Not something I can control, the mind likes what the mind likes :) I def respect the song, just not for me. Maybe I'm the one who's not maturing haha I got to watch them from side stage a few times. Good musicians.

@Aruarian Flow Completely agree with that album and TAITA being their best albums. But you clearly missed my point. I stated instrumentally, it's boring and generic, especially compared to old Thrice. I'm all for bands evolving and changing over time, but instrumentally, this is as generic as it comes. If you don't understand that, you clearly do not play any instrument. Now regarding the actual song, music is subjective, so I'm glad you enjoy it.

i don't get how people can dislike this song just because it sounds like nickelback and all. i've listened to palms and for the most part it was the same boring butt rawk tunes that the band keeps making for some reason, but at least this one offers some dynamism and energy. it's funny to me how shitty they've become over the years though, anyone who thinks that thrice shouldn't be stuck in the past is very close to being objectively wrong

Same people since the inception of the band. If you listen to their albums in order, you can hear how his voice changes. It kind of went from nasally, to breathy, to gravelly over their albums. Probably from age and screaming.

I'd much rather have a footage/studio session type video where at least we can see the guys rocking out. I get it, Dustin changed (or re-evaluated) his outlook and as a consequence his politics crept into the overall aesthetics but this video is just stock photo level cringe.
