yellooo welcome back to yet another thrifety flipety! Today I wanted to return to a simpler time when I didn't have a sewing machine and had to struggle like a peasant with hand sewing and pricking myself a thousands time per project. I feel like I had to get more creative with it, which was definitely a challenge but tis fun to mix it up sometimes!

I have always liked your thrift flips so much! You always go all out and actually FLIPS it. If you watch other thrift flips they usually just cut a shirt to a crop top. It’s so much more entertaining when you actually change the clothing item! Just wanna tell you how much I appreciate your hard work😊

*Perfect timing!* I was binging your diys yesterday and I got a sewing kit for my birthday last week. I have never sewn before but I'd love to pick it up. I don't trust myself with a sewing machine yet so it's cool to get some inspiration of people not using one. Honestly can't wait to get started being a peasant! (and also eventually learning to use a machine). Also notifications are on ;)

For the yellow skirt you made, you could also flip the skirt around so you have back pockets instead of front. I love thrift flips:)

There's a thing called artistic property and not only has this chick stolen her aesthetic and even her editing style and speaking style, but doesn't even acknowledge it. Ashley has put years and years into creating her own brand and channel and it isn't okay for other creators to piggy back off that.

I like fabric glue + hem tape to double up security on my pant hems. I'm still a peasant with no sewing machine or skills, but I'm learning. Thanks for the tips here, I learned how to make sewn fabric straight cuts and making a new hem line. Sweet!

You could have just clamped the ends of the fabric to a tray and then sewn the baby doll shirt.. Clamps are your best friend

The third DIY was my favorite but I didn't really like the raw ends at the top of the skirt. Other than that, I loved the last DIY!!! It was very cute.

Girl you are not alone with the hand stitching thing. I handmade an entire denim backpack just so I didn’t have to carry the machine around. It took an extra 4 days but hey😎
