I realize the vintage sign is simple, one word, however I love it. The color , the font, it's all perfect for me. Font matters. 😂 You chose the perfect one. All great projects.

I love all of these! Resin vs clay question… I’ve only used clay in molds but loved your resin results in previous videos as well. Then in this video you brought out the clay! 😃 How do you decide which projects are best for resin or clay?

Thanks so much 😊 honestly - I feel like clay is more moldeable and versatile but it is “harder” to work with. It’s more steps and you have to Be so careful with the castings when you glue them on. Also they can crack as they dry. Resin is awesome but it doesn’t always curve the way I want (although I’ve been very impressed with the way the Viridis mould has worked for me when curving it around edges on multiple projects).

Yes! Ironically I showed my mom the pencil holder with the mushrooms and she suggested I paint the mushrooms 🍄 so I think I’m going to. 🥰 I feel like that project just keeps feeling incomplete 😝. Thank you for your feedback! You helped convince me

@@SparksofJoyStudio I have the same mushroom moulds and I love them. I paint the big ones red with white dots and the stems an off white and then I clear wax, wipe off and dark brown wax and rub off, they look so real! Try it... Have fun, you are doing great!!!

I know it's allot, so totally understand you can only do so much, but I just love you and your work ❤❤❤ my fave was actually the first one! Antiquing glaze vs Antiquing wax?are they basically the same or is there a difference? I use Antiquing wax all the time but been thinking about the glaze.thx

Antique wax to me has a darker finish than the glaze. But other than that i don’t notice much difference. The dark wax (not liquid) is very different in my opinion. I will use it with more textures surfaces to highlight details. I haven’t found the liquid antique wax as successful for that. But I’m also in no way an expert.

I like the vintage sign. I am sorry but the molds reminds me of a 5 yr old play doh project . For me they just aren't complimentary.

The moulds could be more married to the pieces- I think they do look just glued on - just some feedback before all the sycophants comment
