I really liked these projects and I'm in love with the layering you do. I just wanted to mention that if you live in the southeast, you can get your Spanish moss for free. It hangs out of almost every oak tree down here. Just pull some out of the tree, dip it in mild bleach water, and let it dry. It will be fresh, lovely, and bug free!

Oh be still my beating heart 💜 I have absolutely, completely and utterly LOVED every second of this video. I know it's not for everyone but this is right up my alley. Before I became bedbound with spinal issues, again, at the beginning of September,I was in the process of making large ish fairy/woodland housing and miniature light up fairy house. Which I can't carry on with just yet so this made my heart soooooo happy 💜 thank you so much for showing the process and all the layers. Would love more like this please when time allows of course xx

Thank you for your wonderful comment and sharing your story. I really empathize with your spinal issues. I too have chronic pain including in my spine and neck. I need neck surgery, but am delaying. Of course I am not bed bound and am so sorry you are going through that. I pray that you get back to creating real soon!

@@CozyJunkStudio I am not surprised that you are delaying neck surgery as that's a scary thing. I have massive issues in my neck as well as lumbar and already had spinal surgery....so I sure get that side of putting it off. Thank you for your kind words. It's not the first time being bedbound with spinal problems but this time is turning out harder to work out what's happening after I lost all feeling and movement from hips down in September. I will get there though and can't wait to start creating again. Watching creators like yourself is my escape and coping mechanism x

I love your channel, and am MOST inspired by projects like your bird mansion and your specimen cabinet (a little while back). I made an apothecary/spice cabinet with your specimen cabinet in mind. I love your projects. I like be lot of steps. Thats how I create as well. Details and layers matter in my opinion. I have a similar bird house thingy that has been in my stash for a few years now too just waiting for me to make something happen with it. This video has really inspired me. You house looks like something you would stumble upon deep in the woods. It looks dark, woodsy and magical all at the same time. It’s beautiful and I absolutely love it.

Love the clock too! Question on the patina waxes and rubnbuff. Do you have to seal that? Does it dry or come off on your fingers if you touch it later?

You don't need to seal the patinas, once they cure they will not rub off. Rub n buff dries so quickly and does not come off. Thank you for the question and watching!

How do you clean out your mushrooms to get them prepped for crafting?

I leave them outside under my covered porch for about 1 day just to make sure all the critters get out after I pick them. Then I take a soft brush and brush the dirt and debris out of them. I took a can of hairspray and sprayed all over them and underneath to seal in the stuff that might want to flake off and let that dry thoroughly. You can spray with a can of clear coat or brush on a clear coat. Spraying is better, and if you use a clear coat I would use a Matte finish so they still look natural when they dry.
