Thinking of you years after this video because I just moved into a new home that's bigger than our first home and need to organize many closets. My first impulse was to go to Target or the Dollar Store and buy a pile of plastic bins . . . But I'm using thrifted baskets instead (plus some hyacinth baskets I bought new)! Thank you for being an inspiration for more sustainable living!

It's not easy to dig through the random kitchen isle of the goodwill, but that's where I found almost everything for our new little apartment kitchen! I had to go back a few times to find everything I was looking for, but it was so worth it. That basket for your water bottles is amazing! I keep my stasher bags in a metal storage thing like yours and it's perfect. Hope you have a beautiful week, Alli!

I cut bottoms off of cardboard cereal or pasta boxes to make my drawer organizers. That way I can change them easily to fit any need. 😀

I've only just recently started venturing into the kitchen section of my thrift store and this is inspiring me to give it a more serious shot. My cabinets are in desperate need of reorganization, especially the section for jars, and I love the idea of keeping lids in a small basket or dish!

The random kitchen organizer aisle is one of my favorites at the thrift store ❤️ I scored a vertical pan organizer like the baking sheet organizer you found but with wider slots, and I use it to hold my cast iron pans vertically so that they aren’t stacked on top of each other anymore :) It’s those little things that make such a difference in the functionality of a kitchen

Ahh love this!! Watching the Marie Kondo show gave me so many ideas on how to organize kitchen container lids/etc. The game changer for me has been shelf dividers so I can separate plates, and drawer dividers of course.

I love looking through the home section. I never thought to use Pyrex or vintage plates for storing smaller items. Thanks for the idea!

I'm so glad other people have stained cookie sheets. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. This is a good reminder to buy secondhand. It is so easy to just pull out the phone and put something in the Amazon cart, and I need to stop.

Love everything you did here! So satisfying to get organised. The quality of items in thrift stores varies so much though. Unfortunately, the ones in my area have nothing but fast fashion and junk.
