Hey! Fashion nerd here, Jeremy Scott is an American designer and the current director of Moschino, but he got his fame from his collabs with Adidas. He’s probably done about 8 or so at this point. I collect Jeremy Scott shoes, and the ones you saw were both worth around £250 when brand new.

Can you make a video talking about how to travel in Japan? Like how to book hotels, flights, the cost of traveling there, food, how communication is if you speak little to know Japanese, how to travel between cities etc. It would be super helpful and interesting to learn !

Julia Crisan I have a few tips about Japan: 1. Do not blow your nose in public as it is considered rude. You can sniffle all you want or just find a private place to blow your nose. 2. Do not tip the waitress. It will make them confused. So that’s 30% of your money saved. 3. Please bow when you say thank you. Especially when your given a gift, and apologizing. 4. Take gifts with both hands. Even when handing a gift. 5. Do not say Baka (Idiot) as it is considered VERY rude. 6. Wear a surgeon mask if your sick. 7. You will have to eat all of the food on your plate. If you think you can’t finish too much then order a small meal. 8. Do not stick your chopsticks in food (like rice). Those are used in funerals. Don’t hit your bowl with the chopsticks either. 9. Please respect elders (Especially disabled people) on a public transport. If they can’t find a seat please give up your seat. 10. Do not use your phone on a public transport. 11. If you have tattoos please cover them. If your tattoos show the Japanese will think your part of a group called the Yakuza (A group a gangsters.). 12. Shower before entering a hot springs.

@jess6155
@jess6155 4 жыл бұрын
@@jackcurtis1484 if you're going to put your chopsticks down to drink water, check your phone or do something else, lay them flat on the edge of the bowl, don't stick them upright (food side down, holding side up in the air) into your rice so the chopsticks stand upright by themselves. It's rude in Japanese, Chinese and I believe Korean culture as well.

@@Mink071 I would assume you'd go get a clerk to "clear" that mannequin of it's clothing pieces and bag. I actually got a pair of shorts off a half mannequin as that one was the last one in my size (in mens) in the whole store (this was a surf shop in Hawaii, not Japan) after asking the a floor employee to get it off the rack, he asked me if I wanted it off the mannequin...after finding out there was no more on the rack in my size. - I know I'm not the person this was a reply to, but I have a feeling they aren't going to come back and respond....as they already have. I can't blame Alex though since most of us (if we're from the AUS, UK, or US) don't really know how to make fully coherent sentences asking a store employee to take the outfit off of the mannequin in Japanese. Heck I'm Japanese and I can't even speak a word my ancestors language, but oddly I can sing it though if I have the song playing in the background (mainly any vocal theme from the games I play).

Rewatching Alex’s Japan videos makes me feel nostalgic and yet knowing she’s no longer with us brings home how we should each live in the present moment, don’t dwell on the past and hope for a better tomorrow. I imagine she’s in a place of her most beloved and happy forever dreaming. She is missed even by those that only knew her from her KZfaq channels. 🩷

OMG AH I'm only like 4 mins in but I HAD TO comment because I read the nightingale floor books (I think 2 or 3) when I was a young teen and have always felt like it's such an amazing story that not enough people know about. It was such a beautiful experience to read those books and have an insight into Japanese history and it definitely aided me in my current obsession with Japan. Omg I'm just so happy someone with a platform has spoken about it!

Alex! Don Don Down and 2nd Street are really popular chains everywhere in Japan! The further you go out from Tokyo, the cheaper the clothes get! If you ever venture to less popular prefectures for sightseeing, be sure to stop by some of those. They might be more of a walk than in Tokyo, but the finds are AMAZING.

Buying from charity shops is good way to save money .. Couple yrs ago I picked up a heavy winter coat for my granddaughter,I paid £4 ... the coat was from one of our expensive shops in the UK Marks & Spencer’s to buy the coat new was over £35 .. My husband buys his trousers & shorts from a charity shop ,he pays £1 a pair and they are good quality stuff .. I crochet and I’ve even bought cheap yarn from there too .. shopping in charity is a brilliant thing to do ..xx

(Også fra Danmark, halløj! Skriver dog lige på engelsk så andre evt kan forstå det) The best thing though is when you find designer clothes in regular thrift stores for super cheap! (Not necessarily Gucci, Louis Vuitton and other super super high end brands but still designer brands) I have gotten Louboutin shoes (120 DKK), a Stasia dress (20 or 30 DKK), a Marimekko dress (80 DKK), Malene Birger pants (maybe 40 DKK), Wood Wood pants (40 DKK), a Wood Wood shirt (35 DKK) etc
