My child picked out a costume from our local boys and girls club thrift store... I found a candy costume and at first it was a no then she found a colorful clown wig and she was like ok ok I'll be the candy girl if I can have this wig to go with it and I was like absolutely... her costume and wig cost 7 bucks all together and she's super excited .... EVERYBODY SHOULD SHOP AT THEIR LOCAL THRIFT STORES!!! It saves money and also recycles I love thrifting my child has sooo many nice clothes from the thrift store

Yes always sleep with your doors closed and don’t try to save things when your trying to get out they’re just things they can be replaced. You cannot! Like you said if you’re in a room get low and make your way to the door feel the door with the back of your hand be fore you touch the knob lick you finger and just touch it don’t grab onto it because if it’s hot you’ve just burned your whole hand and you may accidentally open the door which could cause a flash of fire from the new air hitting the fire. Air gives life to a fire. If your door is warm find an alternative way out likely a window and safely get outside. Addison was right if you can wet a shirt or something for over your face dry helps too but wet is better to protect from the smoke. Get to your meeting place as soon as you can and call 9-1-1. Once everyone is safe let your neighbours know in case their home is close and the fire is big it could jump next door. Make them aware as well. Gather animals that made it out and keep them calm and together there will be a lot of people a commotion me the first responders get there. Be safe everyone!
