I originally had the version without the tights and exchanged her for one with the tights, kind of want both versions lol I heard a rumor the "Karen Mom's" made a stink about the fish nets

Same sort of issue for me here! Savers in my area charges a lot for the dolls and also puts them into bundles of like two dolls per bag. So maybe one nice doll will be in the bag I actually want but then a really ragged doll will be shoved in the bag with it and that will be used to justify jacking up the price since you’re getting two. Doll bags with actual clothes on them are put at like $14-16, while the nude ones are still often $10-12. The “cheap” bags are $7.99. I’ve still made some good finds, but I have to be pretty selective and really consider if the doll I want in the bag is worth it, or at least put with another doll that I wouldn’t mind having too. (Also Minnesota. Maybe stores here just go like that?)

I looked her up later and realized- that’s actually WAY easier for me to just make her a replacement so I’m happy about it

I definitely prefer them in bags. People run off with accessories if they’re just out and about

@@xCanadensis I’ve been meaning to get a Facebook to look on marketplace! As for flea markets, I really don’t know because I’m in a new city at the moment for college, I’ll have to do more looking definitely. There’s no flea markets that I know of in my home town though 😭

Flea markets are OBNOXIOUSLY difficult to track down but once you find a good one, they’re fantastic! They often aren’t super well documented online and some cities have terrible ones so it’s veryyyy tricky. It’s so frustrating to try to find the dolls in different areas because YOU KNOW they’re out there but it’s so annoying to not be able to find them. Facebook marketplace is truly heaven-sent. And there’s often local sales groups on Facebook that have amazing deals too!

Oh lord 😭 the one that did it is my favorite rat who we ever had so I forgive her… but she definitely owes me money :)

Basically all have either LOW grade nylon or Polypropylene. The hair words are just different grades of plastic (like you can find nylon rope for example) and each has special considerations. Nylon and Poly both can melt so you have to be careful. Nylon can boil out and be perfect again but poly is a BEAST. I usually have to straighten repeatedly to get a halfway decent result. I’m hoping to really invest some time into a video for this poor Meygana because I know most Bratzillaz suffered this fate :( SOME Bratzillaz have Saran but I’m not 100% sure who. Saran is suuuper nice. Melts more easily I believe but boil washing is going to be safe on Bratzillaz no matter what. You’ll know Saran when you feel it because it’s incredibly different! I desperately wish there was a database for dolls where people can say what hair type (and variants of that) each dolls has. If I knew anything about web design I’d do it myself but, alas, I do not. Also thank you so much 🙏 I love these styles of videos and back when I started doing these many years ago they were VERY rarely uploaded on KZfaq so I’m glad I can fill the niche! Another channel I HIGHLY recommend for thrifting content is BeneDolls!

You got lucky!! The Saran Bratzillaz are incredibly hard to find because people prefer them and seek them out specifically- and MGA made way less of them I believe. Her channel is thrifting HEAVEN! And so underrated

I felt so lucky when I saw the second hand market prices because even though they’re missing some accessories I got both of those two for maybe?? $10 each? Which is really good for nz. Though I did just spend over 100 in an auction for Carolina past but… there’s no but. I regret nothing. And her channel looks like so much fun and she seems so nice!! I hope you can find her! I love her so much and I love that I got her first but I lost all of her stuff and took her hair out so I’m so grateful to have a basically brand new one to keep perfect forever :)

Where in TX because I might know some good suggestions haha. Except Houston. Truly an enigma as to where the hell all of the dolls are. Grew up there for my first 18 years and never found anything particularly noteworthy despite my best efforts. I post daily around 11pm-2am but the only reason that works for engagement is because it’s fairly consistent and I’ve been going this way for about a year. It boosts in the morning generally when people wake up. I think afternoon is the worst because people forget about it by the time they’re home from work or school but that’s just a personal theory.

Since they’re so new they’re not common at thrift stores! And people know they have value so they get snatched up quick. I’ve found a few but NEVER with any of their stuff! That was crazy!

I thrift a lot and I've only ever found 2, and they were nude. But I got them anyway and dressed one in Barbie clothes and the other in a RH 2nd outfit.

I moved here in august of 2020 and went to every “resale”, “thrift”, “second hand” etc. store I could find! I took note of which had toy sections/dolls and which did not! There’s stores that have historically had some toys before but generally do not so I don’t go. If you’re lucky enough to live in an area with a Kid to Kid or a Once Upon a Child those are GLORIOUS! And then there’s Savers which is overall pretty good for toys in my experience (the two cities with them that I’ve lived in have been amazing) It’s a lot of trial and error basically!
