Paint inlays were designed to be embedded in the 2nd coat of paint but some will embed it into a sealer over a paint blend finish.

Love all of these and also fusion does AMAZINGLY on both glass and metal with virtually no brush strokes, because it self levels. I know you've used it before, but figured there might be a few viewers that haven't. I don't know about you, but I get all of my DIY, IOD, and fusion from Milton's daughter if you don't have a regular stockist 😁

It only pulled your paint off of the jar because of it being glass. No need to normally seal before adding an inlay and if you do seal it or use in all in one paint, make sure you do not leave it to dry for more than an hour. Personally, for the jar of you didn't want it distressed, I'd paint it, seal it, let that dry, then add another layer of paint on top of the sealer, then the inlay. Or, you can just use the top coat. With paint it can dry for weeks and you'll have no issues, but not with top coats...

TFS . I just use another layer of paint on top of my sealed paint . Been working ❤ and the jar enrrd up working out I like the lol distressed Once again thank for ur advice I appreciate it . Learning diff techniques ❤
