I finally created a Thrift Guide to my hometown Fresno, California! I had to bring my friend Josie @YSLNC & @CasaYosie to do this with me. We went thrifting at 5 different stores in Fresno and scored them (well most of them-watch to see what I mean). I hope this is helpful for you guys if you are ever in Fresno and want to go thrifting!

I really enjoyed Josie and her picks! She has excellent taste! Erica, I love the elastic waist pants too. I buy them extra big so I can tailor them to myself and I enjoy redesigning them a bit to make them look a bit more modern. Once you can master doing that, you can buy all sizes when thrifting and it's a whole new level of thrifting! I love the trench coat Josie found and the shoes!

I stopped in a thrift store in Hanford, near Fresno. I could about 10 items all obviously donated by the same well-off woman. All my size and all high quality! Know your brands and if you don't, look them up.

i’m super late to this video(love it btw) but one tip for finding jeans that will fit well is wrapping the waistband around your neck. if it fits well around your neck(not to small, not too big), that’s how it will more than likely fit around your body. it’s worked every time for me and i love it😊.

I live in Fresno and there is a nearby thrift shop on chestnut/Belmont that offers 50% all the time. I love getting $1-3 tops haha 😂.

Love this! One because I'm new to Fresno and thrift stores is one of the places I love going to the most here 😬 but I have yet to check out emerald city. I personally love going to thrift center and neighborhood thrift..so funny bc I've been to lighthouse once and I just did not like it and have not been back since😅

Peroxide, a little water and your regular detergent, spot clean, soak then wash. Should take any stains or spots out. Might have to repeat the process or soak longer for stains in vintage pieces. 💖

Thanks, I'm so glad you like the thrift guides! The 15 minute time limit was really a challenge haha! I do kind of regret not getting the orange coat. It would be really cute with a colorful beanie, as you mentioned. You're right, there does tend to be better coat selection off season. I just couldn't bring myself to buy it and have to store it for so many months!

I haven't gone clothes shopping in a very long time . lol everything in my closet IS probably vintage . My favorite thrift store in Fresno would have to be the one on Clinton and Cedar . ( Cant remember the name ) Mondays and Thursday half off and if you purchase more than $10 you get a half off coupon for your next purchase.

I’m glad I found this video! I live in Fresno and I didn’t know about any of these places accept that Salvation Army I go to all the time. You guys should go to that goodwill right by that Salvation Army and Mission Thrift!

Would love to see a Bakersfield Thrift Guide, once you get a good lay of the land! If you haven't check out Woolworth in Bako (antique shop with a old school diner inside - go for the sundaes!) I highly recommend for a fun browse. Great video! Hope you and your fam stay cool in this heat!

I live in Hanford and thrift Fresno at least once a week, I also thrift Vegas (I just got back) and love thrifting Orange Co and the Santa Monica area❤ I find LOTS of designer items, LV, Furla, Chanel and Tory Burch just to name a few. I seldom buy retail !

I will definitely have more styling in future videos! This video was just already so long with all the different stores we included, and I didn't end up getting all that many items to style.

Funny how you say your Goodwill stores are “fancy”! The ones near me in NJ are dingy! Dull! Messy! And not the cleanest.🤦🏻‍♀️

I live in Clovis. Mission thrift is a really cool store on Sierra it’s off of Blackstone.

Fifteen minutes per store? Wow! Wasn't that hard? What if you missed something good because of your time limits? But then again, you are both veteran thrifters, so maybe that's all you needed.

It was a challenge! I was a little bit worried about missing some good pieces because of the time limit, but I do think it was enough time to at least get a feel for the store and find a couple of things.

That reversible star puffer coat is 🤌🏻 I love the thrift guide videos you do. It’s always interesting to see what you pick up and it’s nice to visit a few shops in one day. I don’t know how I could limit my shopping to 15 minutes though! You guys must have heaps of self control! 💪🏻
