With little to no luck thrifting the last month it was time to try out a new place! I recently heard about this indoor flea market that opened in December (definitely more like an antique mall) and decided it would be worth the trip to check it out. So today we are thrifting at a Flea Market and a Thrift Store! Which item was your favorite? Which haul did you like better? Great finds! Totally agree about wallpaper. Once you have had to remove it from walls, you usually never want to apply wallpaper ever!😊❤

Your first thought of Checkered box being from Target is correct its Studio McGee and it was available in two sizes, I have them both☺️

I am 61 yrs old and we have lived in 13 homes seince I got married in 1980, anywhoo, IF the seams of the wallpaper are tightly glues and there are no rips, tears or missing sections of wall paper, you CAN paint right over it. We have done it numerous times as well as painting PANELING! Enjoyed your video, it wasn;t too long a "jibber jabbery"this is the 1st one I have seen

I have the same wallpaper in a different color. It goes on great, and peels off even better. Sticks well too. Great idea for backs of shelves. I did it on the top of breadboard in my TV room. Love it. Also I used the extra and covered a wooden tray. Turned out pretty.

I'm Greek and inherited one from my grandmother. It's called a breekee used to make coffee.

@@RachelGThrifts If you ever choose to make Turkish coffee in it, here's the recipe. 1 heaping Tb of ground Turkish coffee, 1 heaping tp sugar and water to fill the breekee. Bring it to a hard boil 3 times, each time turning down the heat and then raising again. It's 3 times for the holy trinity per my little old Greek grandmother. I hope you enjoy it and it's tradition.
