The LaCroix! 😭 Please forgive me if you know about this, but the main characters in the old British classic comedy Absolutely Fabulous were OBSESSED with LaCroix. I grew up watching reruns of it, and I credit that show (specifically the absurdist fashion of Edina) with my maximalist tendencies. I'm so glad it found its way to you.

That green Nina Ricci dress is a dream!!!!! It looked SO GOOD on you! I don't think that overlay at the top hit at a bad point; to my eye, the wideness it created at your shoulders made the fitted waist look even smaller. So pretty on you!

So glad you got the plaid jacket! When I saw you try it on, I was like yes! I love a print mix like that and it's cropped. So cute. And the green dress looks amazing on you. I live in NYC and I have thrift dreams of thrifting in faraway states where there's a designer rack with an Ungaro jacket for $20.

Our styles are distinct from each other, but they overlap just enough that it feels like I’m stretching my ideas of what you can combine into an outfit if you’re confident and go all out. I lub it 💞 Those flame toe oxfords were the find of the season. They remind me of a pair I got from Delias back in the day. They were black with with red/orange/yellow flames. You remind me of me before I got old and jaded. Lol I used to go thrifting and to yard sales with My Nanna when I was young. That is some of my core memories and great ones. omg. Ungaro! Lacroix! Nina Ricci! You are reliving my late-80s issues of Vogue and those pieces are just joyful and I love them on you. (Also at the risk of sounding weird, I do kinda want you to rock up to my funeral in a huge-collared dress shrouded in mystery, because it would give people a Thing To Talk About and that’s how I wish to leave my public: puzzled, amused, maybe slightly alarmed but in a fun way.)

Just stumbled across you on YT and honestly your videos are the most humble, wholesome and engaging thing! I could watch you go thrifting for hours… and I kind of slowly am (in a non-creepy way hehe). Love your style and the potential you see when you’re thrifting it’s gotten me inspired to give British charity shops a chance again! I peed my pants leaving my friends apartment heading to a local show. I was maybe 13 at the time and was still embarrassed to pee if I thought people might hear me. So I tried to hold it during the prefunk till we got to the show. I ended up calapsing to my knees while we walked down her apartment hallway, attempting to hide the fact that I had lost the battle with my bladder. No one noticed I said nothing and just went about my buisness till i got home. Thank glob for black shants and knee high Argyll socks. Lol

I love the wild bright patterned bolero jacket, and the bright green lacy gown... the cream colored suit is nice but I would end up altering the skirt into a long mermaid skirt and clockwork embroidery on the skirt & jacket to give it a steampunk vibe..
