Today I am thrifting to make over my coffee bar! It currently has a more contemporary feel and I while I love it the way it is, my heart is wanting to make it feel more vintage. So that means it is a thrift with me trip to find some vintage kitchen items! I can not wait for you to see the transformation and the haul items that I found. Hopefully you love it as much as I do!

That wooden spoon with the whole in the middle is to measure a serving of the hard spaghetti… my husband is a chef hahaha I don’t cook.

I would use the coal scuttle for coffee pods, individual coffee creamers, or even fill with inexpensive, whole coffee beans .

😂 I was an undergrad at UW SEATTLE in the early 1970's. I bought a wooden spoon like that with the hole at the pike place market...they said it was for stirring sauces and soups with less splashing because some of the soup would pass through the hole 😎🤷‍♀️

You can always use a magnet to check if it is brass or metal. If it is metal the magnet will stick. Thank you for sharing your haul!

I am so glad you got that brass/copper looking pot with the blue and white handle, I was yelling at the computer "get that!" I want to find one of those in my area so bad, it's adorable Everything was really nice and you did a good job of decorating that area.

Hahaha I’m actually really glad I went back for it! I think if I saw it in the footage as I was editing I would have been upset to pass up such a lovely piece. It actually turned out to be my favorite piece styled on the shelves!!

Use for wooden spoon with whole Risotto spoon. Keeps rice from being mashed or mushy.

The piece you’re not sure of what it is is a copper coal scuttle. I have three in small, medium, and large sizes. That one is in great shape!! ❤❤❤

The hanging piece in 10:33 has islamic arabic writing on it. You found yourself an expensive and a well known style of art works, which are quite famous amongst the middle-eastern Islamic culture.
