Omg Mervyns was my Moms go to for back to school shopping and my favorite part of summer. Coming home and trying everything on and then putting all my new clothes in the order I wanted to wear them first week of school is some of my best childhood memories 😅 oh and I go to Goldenwest swap meet every single Saturday I never miss and let me tell you the prices are AMAZING! So many $1-2 dollar clothing tables!!! I know it’s far for you but may be worth it sometime ❤

The Gunne Sax style dress you can alter the back into a lace up!! That would be so cute & fit you a lot more comfortable 😍 I love the vintage Mervyn’s lingerie piece!! Mervyn’s was my mom’s shit when I was kid lmaoo we had it here in SoCal

You can always add holes in the back of that white dress and add ribbon for a corset back so it fits better it's supper cute and looks good on you

Absolutely loved the haul! It looks like a fun experience and you never know what you're going to find! About the dress that didn't zipper up, if you really liked it and wanted to keep it you could try to make sort of a corset back, is saw someone DIY the other day! You can make like a lace up adjustable back!

I grew up in Ventura/Oxnard, CA and got most of my clothes from Mervin's. The only thing I can describe it as is it was like an upscale K-Mart and a notch below what Kohls is today. When you said Mervin's I was like WHOA! What a throw back!!!

I found some vintage dress wear from old navy and it is awesome. Old navy clothing now can not compare to vintage old navy pieces. Don’t sleep on it. The same for vintage express. Love it. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

OMGGG Mervyns, i loved mervyns so much and i still remember when it went out of business and was closing we went to shop there and the deals were so good 😭 i wish i could go back in time now and get some stuff. Growng up, there used to be one in Pasadena, but im not sure about the other parts of LA but i would assume as well, and throuhgout Socal like in Orange County and San diego too :) This was a great video, honestly for me, i dont really have great skills to search in the rose bowl so I always just leave tired but this video is inspiring me to try to go again, but maybe when its winter again hahaha

I’ve been to the rose bowl flea in the summer on a really hot day I had to cut my trip short cause I was getting a migraine lol it’s such a huge flea! I definitely would go back again just not on a hot summer day 😭
