Finally got around to filming a house tour of our cozy, colorful, thrifted home in South Carolina. We moved here about a year ago and just got it exactly where we want it with all our thrifted and sustainable decor on their diy shelf spaces. I don't know how to describe my home decor style, but i'd say it sits somewhere among the mid century, bohemian, color-crazy, sustainable, vintage, western clash of styles. It's just my perfect self expressive spot! enjoy!!

Your home is beautiful and cosy. Such a homely feel to it. Love how all the earthy tones flow through the whole house tieing it all together. It certainly oozes your personality and style. The washer and dryer in the kitchen is not an unusual feature here in the UK. Most homes here only have the space in their kitchen for them. Thankyou for sharing, was a lovely video 💛🧡🤎

Great spaces! Love it all! We live in a small house (600 sq ft for 2 adults and a dog). When we bought the house it was all white. I repainted EVERYTHING! My living room is blue, the kitchen is yellow and the bedroom is red (including the ceiling). All our furniture is thrifted or second hand (except out mattress) and all our home decor is also thrifted, second hand or vintage. Love color!!

I am a color-lover too! My front door is chartreuse and I painted bright colored walls, painted my floors and painted 🌸 on my walls. No brown furniture that I haven’t redone too😀. I have my own KZfaq channel called “This is me Susan” that hasn’t grown but it does show some of my colorful home, transformed bedroom into a walk-in closet and colorful fashion and our “shire” backyard. Thanks for sharing your decor…love, love it.

Glad I found your channel. I love ❤️ love your cozy home. The colors in the front room remind me of the 70’s. You are so creative and daring. A home should reflect the personality of the person. I love your eclectic decor. Your choice in colors bring everything “cohesive “ The yellow in the kitchen makes it look so cheery. The washing machine and dryer are so handy where they are. Good idea using the top butcher block for your baking needs. You have a very large yard. Lots a room to add on. I’m going to watch your video again. I love the color orange. I use the color in a lot of my accent pieces. I like thrifted items because not everyone has the same decor. The more the better.🌼🌸🌻🌺

Your house is gorgeous! I have a love for yellow also. I had a yellow bathroom, now it is green. I had a green bedroom that is now yellow. I think thrifted things give a home so much more character because you gather them over time! Anybody can go buy things at a store, but it all looks cookie cutter that way. Very beautiful. I love an alive bright home with an atmosphere of sunshine and good positivity. So I'm wowed ..I love your decoration as well.this is great.. I was looking for wall papers they very expensive here and that would really be a good idea.. But my wall is damage I don't think it would do me well.. just conflicted but in love with yours

Love your color scheme!!! My favorites have always been the warm golds, greens, rusts, like you, in every room. and I loved growing up with my mom's Early American furniture phase back in the 60s. That furniture was so well made, and back then, we had maple. Mom moved on to her French Provencial stage with the blues and mauves, but by that time, I'd moved out. Lol. I have loved thrifting everything over the years also. I don't have your sewing talent though I learned basic sewing years ago and made a lot of simple things way back in the 70s. I've found the nicest used clothing, including suits, coats, shoes, purses, and household decor. You've done such a great job.

Very cute and creative, I have yellow cabinets in my laundry room and it is uplifting. Your stitchery pieces are actually crewel embroidery, using light weight yarn on fabric. Regular embroidery uses thread on fabric. Needlepoint is completely covering a canvas, often people made chair covers and pillows with needlepoint. Not to be critical, just informative as I have had a needle in my hand my whole life. I wish I'd have saved some of my 70's work, my daughters would probably love them now.
