Hello beautiful friends today we are thrifting in a new town and talking about what type of childhood you had🤎🤎

I was definitely a country bumpkin! I stayed with my grandma during the week to go to school. My Mama had to be to work well before school hours and school was out before she got off. My grandparents and my moms oldest brother and his family lived in one house. They farmed & had a country store. We didn't have canned food in the house except fit maybe soup or something like that. What we ate we grew! Most everything else came from the little store except meat. Went grocery shopping once A month for meats. Bacon, sausage, those were in the store.. it was meat market meats. And we kids had to help.. shell beans & peas, shuck corn, make apple & pear preserves, grape jellies.. we had the fruit trees and grape vines! We helped can veggies and freeze veggies for the winter. Every veggie you can think of almost! My cousins & I played mostly outside all day, there was lots to do! Then when I was home with mom it was boring lol, it was just me & her. My brother & sister were much older so they worked. Mom & dad were divorced when i was 4, but he took me everywhere.. beach, lake, camping. Mom wolf take us to the mountains every year. I loved every minute of my childhood! I feel i had the best of all the worlds. Wouldn't change A thing and would go back in a minute! Now I live in the mountains & know my mom would have loved it, it was her favorite place to be! I'm right where I want to be! I love collecting old art, especially photos or Victorian art. That one large piece with the ladies & baby was beautiful! I would love to find an old wood bowl at that price! The picture would look really good in A thick wood frame, I would definitely be on the look out for a larger or thicker wood frame for It. Hope you guys had A blast! TFS😊

I grew up in up State New york..small town on Earie Canal. Took swimming lessons in lake Ontario& my uncle had a cottage there.I was always.on or by water. I am near Gulf now in Florida..I had a beautiful Childhood,only child,lots of cousins& friends.🤗💞🌴🦜🌺🐞🌸 What a nice place you are at😊.

Good morning! Beautiful place.. I was a farm child.. we milked cows😂😂😂 As I got a little older my family moved to the city. 😢 and as I became a mom.. I moved to the suburbs for my kids. Now I’m just a Floridian. I don’t get to milk the cows anymore. But I see them every morning ❤Tyfs Idk where I see myself living. But I do see a tiny home. I would love a tiny home in a non so busy place and peaceful where I get to just have peace and love . Corny ( I know)

The place you stayed was so nice and the food looked yum! My girls and I love thrifting over on the coast at Fort Bragg where we’ve camped over the years. One year my car was so crammed with my girls and all our stuff that we barely had room for our thrift finds.. so the next trip we were traveling lighter 😊 It’s always fun to thrift in other towns. And along the coast you can find some really cool stuff!

That place looked amazing and how great you and your family were all able to go! Cant wait to see the candle making video please list supplies needed. That good will was nice but pricey! All our local places have really increased their prices very disappointed. Maybe you can show us how you styled your finds thats always fun! Have fun time!😊

I grew up going to the beach even though I am from the Bay originally. Summers included trips to Ventura and San Deigo and up near Yosemite also

My childhood was similar to yours grew up spending all of our time outside barefoot and happy. That property was absolutely gorgeous. So lushes and beautiful. The thrift store was pricey but I’m not surprised! Happy weekend
