I purchased a purple painted bedroom dressing table with three beveled mirrors attached from that same store. Painted it white to match my other shabby chic furniture. Sold it last year and doubled my original cost.

Rehabbing and repurposing is the way to go! Not only did you get the enjoyment of painting it, but now someone else gets to enjoy it for years to come! Win/Win!

I got my Stickley sofa at Habitat for Humanity. It was in pristine condition and was a whopping $125. So many huge cheap sofas were $400…either they didn’t know what they had or they priced it for a friend to come and pick it up later. There is no later at ReStore…if you see it and love it….buy it.

@Mary D I shouldn’t even acknowledge this post, but I will. Saturdays are my thrift days. I am in and out of 10-15 Ubers, touching dirty door handles, dirty shopping cart handles, and often dirty used items all day long. It can be a pretty dirty business. Bathrooms are not always available to wash my hands and my skin hates hand sanitizer. This is a quick easy solution to keep my hands clean so when I want to eat or touch my face I don’t have to worry. I am a retired dentist who spent over 30 years wearing gloves all day, so its no big deal for me to wear them thrifting all day. It helps me stay healthy. It works for me!
