In this video, we are heading back to the best Japanese flea market to find vintage goods. Tokyo city flea market is located 5 minutes on foot from Oi Keibajo-mae station. This Japanese market takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
Most sellers start packing up at around 1pm on slow days. However, it is best to stay until the end as some vendors will give major discounts up to sometimes 100 yen per item. Mostly look for trucks outside the parking lot.
You will find items ranging from Japanese video games, antiques, clothes, figurines, trading cards and many other goods.
If you are looking for more specific items to purchase, you can head to chains like ‘’Book Off or Hard Off’’. Vendors are willing to bargain on some items, especially if you are planning on buying more than one. To be honest, it can be difficult to agree on a price in Japan, but give it a try mainly 1 hour before the market closes.
