Last time I was at my goodwill about a week ago they had a blu ray copy of the amazing spiderman 2 for 8 dollars, what a ripoff! it should be 2 or 3 bucks at most. Who the hell does goodwill hire to do their pricing? Some senile 80 year old man named jack?

The prices at any goodwill really sicken me! People donate this stuff and they sell it for top dollar. They make a lot of money off of people that really can’t afford things. That was the original point of having a goodwill thrift store! Thanks for your videos, I appreciate it greatly. I am learning a lot and find myself in thrift stores looking for unopened things. Goodwill's in Minnesota take advantage of the long, cold winters. Where it would be priced for $2 elsewhere, it's $5 in MN. I see used clothing I can buy at Ross or Sierra cheaper new.

Goodwill is sooooooo expensive here. It's absolutely insane. I only go on Discount days and to the outlet. The outlet is the most expensive I've heard of so far but it is definitely the best deal for GW in MN.

I live in Minnesota, got a lot of sealed dvds from a goodwill and I asked the lady at the front desk. She said they usually take them all and sell them online but this store said they would just put them out this time. I’m guessing a lot of the MN stores scan

Yep, this is exactly what Goodwill prices look like here in CA. I haven’t stepped foot in any Goodwill in over a year. They’re a laughingstock now and absolutely ridiculous. I don’t sell on Amazon, only eBay and Mercari, so there’s absolutely nothing in it for me.

I would hit the off brand thrift stores. With Goodwill being a chain thrift store, their prices tend to be a bit more.

The thing with these stores is that u haveto know more than them. Easier said than done. But the weirdest things will be priced low and the general bread and butter stuff will be priced high. Its peculiar.

Not sure if you live out here, but I live in Minneapolis and I swear all our thrift stores want WAY too much money for things. We can’t easily find anything worth flipping for a profit here at any thrift stores. Kind of sucks to be honest!

Someone needs to remind Goodwill that they are a THRIFT, not Saks Fifth Avenue -- or Gucci!! Wow, I cannot believe those prices. As my friend once asked at a GW: "and you paid HOW much for those donations?!" (He got no answer from the sputtering manager.)

Wondering what the deal is with the dream machines, why are they so popular? Even good clock radios are still just clock radios. These prices are still pretty good compared to western canadian thrift stores. tshirts are usually ~5-10 canadian. even crap condition ones.

I was just there last week. What a joke. I drove from Duluth and hit 20 stores in 1 day. It was terrible. Only real decent find was from Another Man's Treasure which is more of a local pawn shop type chain. MN Goodwill and Savers have lost the plot. Equally bad up here in Duluth. All those stores were alright until this year. They pulled the glass cases and added all that Family Dollar crap. All the good donated items get sold online. They scan every single book even smh.
