In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into Goodwill. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)

There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

I loved seeing the rocking / spring horse. My dad bought one for me for my first birthday. I still have it today. The hutch looks great and really compliments the room.

My husband had a Stanley thermos - same color without handle - and carried that for years. Now he uses a stainless steel tall mug by Yeti or someone. I liked the doll cradle and bed. Those green leaf plates are beautiful in your dining hutch.

I'm watching from the countryside in Paris, France. My eye was caught by the glasses with the green stems in your hutch. Here in France traditionally we drink an apéritif called Kir in such glasses. It is made from blackcurrant syrup and Borgogne Aligoté, a white wine. Perfect for a before lunch or dinner drink.

OMG Jessica you did it girl with the hutch, not to say that the way you decor the first time wasn't beautiful, but this style took it to a new beautiful level, I was hoping that you got the leaves and the cabbage bowl - the rocking horse was a bit nostalgic, I took one of my first toddler pics on one and I'm in my 60's, I have to say my favorite piece was the horse, as always good haul BRAVO👏, where's Ms Peanut 🤗, Hi Hannah

I had that horse rocker when I was growing up and my dad cut a slit in the top of it. And turned it into a piggy bank. And the loose Change in it would shake around when I would ride the horse...lol

The leaf plates look fantastic in your hutch! I really liked the "think out of the box" wall hanging...I like to put things like that in my studio as encouragement. And I loved the oversized mug (looked like it was made of clay?) that was brown and blue and had leaves on the sides.

Hello, Your hutch looks so nice. It seems when prices are left on merchandise though the item is not vintage they simply cut the price in half. You can get better deals at the store. I like the leaves you bought my favorite. Thank you. God bless you all.🙏🏽👍😊

I’m always shocked when I see they just write on the items with sharpies instead of putting on a price sticker. Seems like more of a pain to try to remove the marker. Do you ever get an item that it doesn’t wash off of?

Actually it's quite the opposite... It's pretty easy to remove. It takes me longer to remove price tags. 😂 I've never had a problem with removing the marker from anything I've ever purchased.

For glass and ceramic pieces just washing it with soap and water gets it off easy. For wood or metal items I use the combination of alcohol and or a magic eraser. 👍

Hi Patti, I actually got the table and chairs from a local mom and pop furniture store here in Cary North Carolina. I got it about 6 years ago. If you're local to the area I can send you the website to the store. 👍

Here in Phoenix, picking is not so good at the thrift stores. It's better up in Scottsdale where they have many Goodwills. I do better in little independent charity thrift stores.
