I love secondhand shops in Japan. I've been to Treasure Factory and 2nd Street but Book off is my favorite. I love how they organize clothes on their size and color. Missing Japan.

I also enjoy going to second-hand shops. We have lots here in Yokohama area. So I often visit various second-hand shops and take videos of their good items with prices. They are all good.

2nd hand shopping in england is either antique shops or better yet more often than not it's charity shops with donated items. When you buy the a percentage of proceeds go to the charity :)

This calls for a trip to Japan, just for thrifting alone! Not surprised how clean and well organized shops are. The country and culture are much cleaner than US as a whole.

Wooow the second hand stores looks so high quality!! They look like real stores and the product look very high quality too! In Sweden we have second hand stores too, but they are way smaller and doesn't not have this quality at all... So i have like never bought anything from one... Update on the zinnia and Aster! They are still small skinny sprouts, but they are definitely growing bigger everyday!

Hi!!! Loved this video!! I have a couple questions because I’m curious!! Do these thrift stores pay for the items people bring in since they are so high quality, or is it like the US where everything is generally donated? Also, it’s there a charity associated with them, or are they for profit?? 💜💜

just a heads up: you can somewhat get rid of the mold inside the lens. She can either take it apart and clean it or if you place in the sun it should kill it off. There are various methods. It's very difficult but tell Linda there are some resources on the internet to get rid of the mold if she wants to :)

For thrift stores, there are so many to choose from (and not to mention the quality, too). About theft in stores in Japan, most are done by foreigners as per many reputable websites. Do you agree? I hope you are enjoying the hydrangea season!

How cool are thrift shops in Japan? Sooo big, you can buy everything... Thrift shops in Germany (the ones who I know) are really boring. They are all very, very small and there are just clothes and bags/belts, shoes. And I don't think its cheap there (for example: I saw H&M brand T-shirts for about 8€, when I buy it new its about 10-12€ etc). I heard about a "luxury thrift shop" where you can only buy the expensive brands an about a furniture second hand shop, but Ive never been there. :)

When I was in Japan, I dedicated a whole day to thrifting/vintage shopping. Seriously... my dream. I was kinda surprised/disappointed by how most of the curated shops were actually western vintage items (which makes sense that Japanese customers would want that b/c it's harder to source that stuff in Japan).. but I was looking for cool vintage Japanese finds! ALL OF THAT TO SAY: I had the most success finding Japanese vintage treasures at those little mom n' pop thrift shops in the countryside
