My Mum and my son Jake joined me at Goodwill for this thrifting trip, and thank goodness they did! Jake found a second amazing piece of recycled glass to give me a pair!
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Join us as we visit Goodwill for a Wednesday morning shop. The store was busy but I managed to find some treasure.. .. I couldn't believe what was just sitting on the shelves! Learn what to bolo and what to leave behind and why. I found a pair of Vidrios San Miguel purple glass candle holders, a vintage Japanese hippo planter, a majolica frog planter, two lucute/acrylic butterfly bowls and a vintage Hickory Chair Company chair!!! Stay for a tour of the first floor of our new house where work is beginning.... and to watch my haul where my Mum shows you a great piece she found, and where I show you everything I found, what I paid and what I expect to get for it......so, lets go thrifting!

Thanks to you, I've collected a cobalt fire and light bug, morano irridescent glass platter and uranium glass vase in the past 2 weeks, all for under $10!! You are one of a few producers of YT shows who have great camera control. You do such great shows, Thank you. Some producers out their wave & move their cameras so rapidly it makes us older folks sick. I like how you step above the YT resellers who love the duds. The under twenty dollars junk. Which in its self is not terrible but on top of that they pass on the fantastic items. Items you pay $50.00 for that sell in the $100.00 to 4 or 5 hundred range.

What a nice haul! I thought you saw the second purple recycled glass piece and you were just teasing us to build suspense! LOL I love when your mother shops, too! She always finds pretty, quality things and she’s such a lovely person! Wish we saw more of her. But we were rewarded with a bit of Jake, which was fun. He’s a beautiful boy and such an earnest sweetheart. Glad he found his sword or saber! Your new house is beautiful - I think the planned changes you told us about will be so nice and really make it into your space. How smart to move and reuse those pavers to make a path for bringing your trash totes in and out from the street!

Would you please buy or rent a wheel barrow or so for your buff male workers (your poor relatives humping all that really heavy concrete). I’m afraid someone is going to strain their back. That can be an expensive and painful injury. 🌺

Very fun shopping trip. I just love how slow you walk down and show us shelf by shelf so I feel like I am right there in the store. I do appreciate your thoughtful & respectful comments about various objects, about value, collectibillity or just for fun. I have only visited Las Vegas [ once] & completely missed the thrift stores! You can try looking at your fave KZfaq resellers eBay pages and then see the sold prices by filtering a little. I agree, it would be nice to see a reseller video showing how some things go for more, some WAY more and some for less, maybe some not at all…and how that helps you learn for next time.

Those mugs/coffee cups were Fiesta. The color was Apricot, a limited edition color when Fiesta was reintroduced in the 80s. So it is a Post-86 color, not a vintage color. Not all of the cups were marked, the mark was on the saucer. It is one of the more desirable colors, but I am not sure of the cups alone with no saucers. Most people today prefer larger mugs over cups and saucers.

My Aunt taught me a trick for the tops of the cabinets. Put wax paper on the tops of the cabinets when they get dirty throw it away and put a new piece.

That hippo is done in a crackle glaze. It’s a specific technique and meant to be that way. Crazing is caused by not being fired properly and is possible to cause someone to become very I’ll and even die from the bacteria.

I would buy that needle point chair so quick I love it. My grandmother taught me to needlepoint and she did 2 chairs which I have inherited. I wasn't able to get the 2 big pictures that she did another family member got those. She taught me so much about needlepoint and I love it.

Sorry I missed you & your Mum & son that day. I did find a few good things that day. I am on the lookout for a Franciscan Apple Platter. I know I've seen you &/or Danni find some occasionally. My sister's platter got chipped. She got our grandmother's set when she passed. (Elinor's sister, Edna) I told her I would put my "team" on the hunt.... LOL 😂😂🤣
