Goodwill and Garage Sale and Flea Market.... oh my! We found SO. MUCH. STUFF. and spent SO. MUCH. MONEY!!!!! Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
I did a Friday night shop at one of my favorite Goodwills, Danni @The NICHE Lady and found the MOST MASSIVE yard sale in Vegas AND she took me to the Las Vegas Broadacres Flea Market!!! Thrift with me as I find amazing treasures for resale on Ebay.... learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. I found an original Lady Head Vase who DESPERATELY needs to be brought back to beautiful, a vintage Japanese copper ashtray, twin ceramic German Shepherds and TONS of beautiful brass figures!! Don't forget the September dates when you can come visit Danni @The NICHE Lady and I and shop our Fantastic Vintage Market Booth within the Fantastic Indoor Swapmeet at 1717 S Decatur Bl, Las Vegas. That lady head planter that you found at the yard sale was cool my mom had a bunch of those one even looked like Lucille Ball she keeped them on the window seal in the front of our house and people would actually stop and try to get her to sale them but she never did and they now belong to my sister such good memories

Before I downsized I was a vintage Coca-Cola collector, so much so I had an antique Coca-Cola cooler built in to my kitchen island. I also had a custom black & white tile floor & a vintage starburst patterned formica & chrome table with chrome studded, red leather chairs. I LOVED the old diner look, I think because I worked at a Rexall drug store soda fountain in high school:). Anyway, I loved the mug you picked up- I had a lot of vintage/antique Coca-Cola dishes, but none like that:) Great find! (I hope you can find the rest of them that people have commented on, Coca-Cola collectors will spend a lot of $ on certain items!) In the clea glass look for etched glass, I do well with them, and look for duralex from France, beehive look juice glass, they also came in colors. But I sold 2 sets of the clear in 24 hours, for 45-65 a set.

But she took the monkey bank and the most I could find it for was 6 dollars. She can't really expect to make 20 dollars on everything she buys...that's not a realistic expectation. Everything isn't worth 20 dollars. If I spend 50 cents on something and sell it for 10 dollars plus shipping...I've done well.

And if she sticks to that....is she going to sell that yellow drip bowl for $23.00???? And those 4 colored wine glasses will end up costing $32.00 for the set...at least. And $22.00 for the Coke cup. $22.00 for the New Orleans mug??? Yeah...I don't think she really sticks to that 20 dollar profit to tell you the truth. 27.99 for the 3 coffee cups.

While the mugs and glasses and figurines may not be $20 sales, Tiffany and Danni have commented that they sell fast and don’t sit around for long. Still a profit and cash flow to replenish stock.

I know it's so hard to film and catch it all, but there were 2 more Coca-Cola mugs atleast that you sadly missed. You definitely need an extra couple of pairs of eyes when you film and shop.. Just loved watching bandit with his new toy. My cat won't play with toys. I think that she thinks that's she's too good for them or something, LOL!

Vaseline and milk glass differ from carnival glass and depression glass...the glow is from the uranium that was used in the composition of glass making process ...not all glow but all are beautiful thanks Tiffany ..GROOVY thrift cheers

I always love pretty much everything you grab. I especially loved your things from the yard sale and the swap meet - those shepherds! And I lived the Blendo tumblers and the wine glasses. The yellow dripware bowl is cute and will make a great set with the green one. Loved how tuckered our Bandit was at the end after playing with his new toy! 🥰

I loved the blue bird plate. It’s a 1940/1950 era. I would buy that because my mother had those and it always reminds me of her. She passed when I was 9.

I have some unique Occupied Japan pieces also. In a previous video Tiffany came across a stack of pretty China saucers and only looked at the top two, but because there were no teacups she passed on looking through them. I have some beautiful Occupied Japan saucers with no cups that I've paid about five dollars apiece for over ten years ago. They are pretty displayed on their own. I don't think she knows anything about Occupied Japan.

Jugtown in Seagrove NC is special. One of the best known potteries, the earlier pieces are now rather valuable.

I got a one level cat toy like that for my kitten - from Dollar Tree he plays for the longest time alone. Sometimes I sit across from him and we bat the ball just enough to stop in front of me or the kitten. He waits for me to bat it back to him when it stops in front of me. He is so smart. Too smart. :-)

Don't know if anyone else advised...the Birds are Sulfur Crested Cockatoo, pink and grey or rose-breasted cockatoo but in Australia we just call them Galahs, and Gang Gang Cockatoo (red head).

Love the blendon glasses ( ice tea in the summer patio). Love the Old Navy Monkey ( we are primate lovers). Love the talavera shot glass ( pair with a beautiful tequila bottle💥). Luv'in ashtray for change holder- it's beautiful. A great gift for a cigar smoker also. Again, not all people are cat or animal lovers. I love animals, I just couldn't use a bowl, cup, creamer, etc in which a cat or any animal is licking. Really liked the yellow bowl, remembered you said you had green one. But after seein cat lickin inside ( it would stay on my mind). I know my friends tell me to get help. But I could see a hesitancy to purchase- friends disagree, yet they are cat and dog owners, some of us aren't or like my friends say ( we have issues, like allergies and other medical etc).

It's good you have a pencil and a paper and lay the paper to a metal and use the pencil to shade it. So the mark will transfer to the paper.

Here we have goodwill outlet. Pennies on the pound. I never heard of a landfill. I been eBay 12yrs. The big seller is shoes 👟. They send them to Africa.

Bandit is so adorable. I love to watch cat's play but I don't play with cat's anymore. I got bit by a cat on my hand. It got infected immediately and I ended up in the Hospital for 3 day's with an antibiotic I. V. It's been over a year and I still have problems with my hand. Cat scratch fever.

My son’s cat, Freya, has a toy with balls just like Bandit ‘s. Freya especially loves to play with her’s around 2 ,3, or 4am. In the dead quiet of the night it’s very noisy. And to add fun she pushes the toy across with floor or pops the balls out and bats them around. LOL 😂 my son son finally had to remove the balls and hide the toy at night, returning it to her in the morning. Cats, you can’t live without them, and you wouldn’t want to.🤪😻🎉

@@ThriftingVegas unfortunately my son was a Wounded Warrior with a physical injury and PTSD from serving in Afghanistan. He would be up at all hours, his kitten helped him tremendously. Now that time has passed both Cat and Man are more settled. But after about 4 hrs of deep sleep his girl gets out of bed, goes on territory patrol against any possible invaders,lol, (lady bugs or lizards mostly) and then wants a play session 🤦‍♀️ before crashing for another 3-4 hrs. 💤
