Hello and welcome to Thrifty Day🌼 This video is a simple junk journal pocket tutorial, NO SEW !! If you are new to journaling, or junk journaling, or if you have no idea how to start a daily journal then this is a fun and easy tutorial to help you get started:)
In this video I show you how I create a simple, no sew, junk journal pocket to use in your journaling process. In the beginning of the video I show you the easy tutorial and the second half of the video is an easy journal with me showing how I used the journal pocket in my own personal journal. You can use something as accessible and inexpensive as a composition book or a spiral notebook, or you can buy or make your own journal. YES PLEASE! I need and love organization videos! I was so happy to see that you posted a video. I've been fighting a terrible cold - my first cold since I retired from teaching little kiddos 4 years ago. Love watching your videos while I'm working on my own junk journal. It reminds me to choose what I love and don't worry about being perfect. Laughed when you started talking about those pattern scissors because they do look like they would be so easy and they give me a run for my money every time I try. Would love to see some organizational videos. Am just starting out but my stuff is already taking over! 😂

Thank you for posting . Even though i have made a variety of journals over the last few years i still consider my self "new" and love to get reminded of the basics.🥰I never thought of using the "apple" or other things in the teacher section of the dollar store for pockets THANK YOU I struggle with pockets so this will be great.

I love this cute layout, it is so cheerful! The apples remind me of numbers or letters on bulletin boards from elementary school! Organizational videos would be welcome, I could use help in that area😂. I have the same struggle with decorative scissors, but generally it is worth it in the end! Yes absolutely!! I love the teacher supply sections 🍎 Years and years ago, before the internet lol I would be hired by teachers to help decorate their rooms! I loved it!! My daughter is a teacher now too! Most of my newest washi tape is from Shorthand and Crush and Touch in LA:))

I don’t think I have introduced myself. I am a retired teacher and love crafting. I mostly make cards and junk journals. I have made about 10 Golden Books and a few lace journals. I used to knit but haven’t done anything recently. I may have to go back and watch some of your videos.

That's a great idea, I don't usually buy 8 x8 because I usually don't have a use for it, but I do have a lot of large scraps which is kind of the same:))
