Tiffany if you really want a quick side to have on hand without the work, try the Kroger brand of frozen Vegetable Fried Rice in the Freezer section. It is really really good and a time saver if you need to whip up something quick. It is reasonably priced too!

I took an Asian cooking class and the instructor taught us that the key to the best fried rice is to cook your rice the day before and put it in the fridge overnight then dump the cold rice into the other stuff. I can’t remember exactly what it does to the rice but it makes a huge difference!👍😉

Looks yummy! I'm going to make some soon! I love veggie fried rice but chicken is good too. I've got lots of chicken breasts in the freezer. We've bought 2 - 40lb cases of chicken breasts. I rap them individually and freeze. Pulled some today for grilled chicken (and I cut ours in half too!) Its marinating in Italian dressing and fresh herbs right now. Will have rice on the side and broccoli. I need a rice steamer, just no more room for appliances! Love watching your cooking videos!

If you use a larger shallow frying pan you will get less steam and get a better effect of a “fried rice” just a suggestion other wise looks good 👍

Should rinse your rice prior to cooking, takes alot of starch n impurities out. Better tasting rice.

I make mine the same way except I use the same pan to saute my chicken. I use all one pan, that way you get all th he brown bits from the chicken to help flavor it.
