I was very proud of my daughter when she moved out I taught her how to be responsible, independent adult and she had her own job not once had I had to pay for her living life style, no rent,food,nothing and she been on her own every since she was 23yrs old ,now she is 46yrs old and never moved back home it's how you teach,and trained your children I didn't baby her my parents taught me the same I was 23yrs old when I moved now I'm 68 yrs old never moved back home I'm proud of myself yes we have hard times but we made it through faith, pray,and hard work when you baby adult children they're never be responsible adults I thank God and my parents for strong support in my culture we no what hard times are and how to deal with it a male child is the worst to baby he'll always expect female to take care of him all that junk foods isn't good for his health you should had taught him how to cook etc again my culture is different but that's your son and story good luck you'll be taking care of your children for the rest of their life but you are not alone Apostle Dr Matthews 😮

I moved out and was completely on my own after graduating at 17. I was wish I woulda had a mama like you way back then..but I survived. My own son moved out at 20 (and I'd buy him and his roommates food and vitamins.) He owned his own home mortgage free by 32. Married with two boys of his own now. It is good when they can move out young and start learning responsibility young .... but a good mama's ❤ to keep them well fed never hurt a thing.

Cash is blessed to have you. But, baby let me tell you, I don't think it was wise for him to have moved out. He could have taken his portion of the rent and stash, stach, stach, and stach some more. I'm grown and looking to move back with my parents 😂. I get it that young adults want their freedom, but it's not worth the cost. I would prefer young adults to stay with their parents until they can purchase their own home and truly can afford their "freedom". Again, he's blessed to have you looking out and I hope it works out for the best.

NEVER discourage your children from moving out after 18. Not that I think they are all ready, cause most aren't, but they NEED that experience , even if they fail. I moved out several times and came back. I think it's more important for boys, well men, aww Cash is still 15 to me!!
@sost78049 ай бұрын
I don’t want to sound opinionated but I think it’s important for young adults to explore life, live on their own, support themselves, pay bills and understand how adult life works. Living with parents when other options are available and waiting to buy a house may limit them in so many levels. I also don’t think they should always rely on their parents because it’s selfish. I’m sure having the supportive network is important however experiencing life on their own will help them tremendously and certainly more than being under their parents’ wings. This is just my opinion and it’s not intended in any negative way!

You remind me of my Mom 😊 She always sent me home with an extra plate of food, and bc she didn't have a lot of money, if she couldn't afford to buy me stuff she'd give some of what she had... food, laundry soap, dishes, etc. I felt bad, but I would only take what I really needed. She's no longer here, but I took really good care of her towards the end, and always bought stuff for her, and spoiled her like she did to me. I miss her so much, but it's okay, because I know I will see her again in the new world to come 😊❤
