Breathtaking Blast from the Past: Stunning Photos Emerge of Teenage Thrill-Seekers on Florida-Georgia's Most Terrifying Bridge Over 70 Years Ago! ‪@TwoEggTV‬ has the real story of a real death-defying climb of the famous (or infamous) Neals Landing Swinging Bridge between Donalsonville, Georgia, and Jackson County, Florida by a group of teenagers - with their original photos!
The legendary swinging bridge spanning the Chattahoochee River between Florida and Georgia more than 70-years ago and was a thing of nightmares! If a car met a truck or bus coming from the other direction, it would have to back off the wooden planked suspension bridge to let the other vehicle pass - even as the structure swayed with the wind!

This is such a beautiful story of a scary bridge. Dale I am also scared of heights! As I too have been in a bunch of different types of aircraft I have never had. The desire to be close to an opening haha. I am sure I am not alone in thinking this story could be flipped into a love story centered at the bridge. Excellent story

Awsum video! The scenes of the old swinging bridge brought back crystal-clear memories of my childhood. I can hear the loose planks bouncing up and down as my grandfather's car tows a trailer load of machines up the blind side of the bridge to the peak. You couldn't tell what was coming up the other side until you reached the peak. As a submarine sailor, I went through a few scary times but none compared to meeting a Greyhound bus at the peak, as we did on one trip, just like the one in the video. My grandfather had to back the car and trailer all the way back down the bridge as my brother and I buried our faces to the floor in the back and cried.
