Nerd warning; 12-20 a world BEFORE plastic carrier bags everyone had their own bags or things were in a wooden box crate.

This is the first time of watching this TV series, I was probably a bit too young to stay up when these were on. I love the Hammer Horrors, Tales of the Unexpected, and all the dark mystery and murder series from this era. Great storylines and its nice to see our well loved and respected actors and actresses in their earlier days! This was a smashing episode and I really enjoyed it. Helen Mirren is such a class act! Arthur English played many a role during the seventies, great actor!

I'm also a secretary... I hope if somebody kills me someone cares enough to look for me; my current employer would replace me before checking on me😅😢

Love these, great suspense and trim-phoned nostalgia, just the thing to escape from a world gone mad

The days when detectives wore no gloves and touched everything at crime scenes then nailed the culprit by fingerprinting lol

This is the British version of the Americans circle of Fear. I'm glad the brits made many episodes. The Snoop Sisters is also good and Kolchak the Night Stalker tv show as well. I think it ran for 2 seasons but it was as good as the movie. Ellery Queen in the 70s was similar to this as well except it was more murder mystery than sometimes the supernatural.

Not much screaming or noise of any great significance from those being murdered. Must be their stiff upper lips. 😅

Oh. Such a great story. Acting was very good. True love does exist and the killer gets caught.

I remember seeing ads on wpix in nyc in the late 70s. TV guide advertised it as a tv movie when in reality it was a tv show episode
