Thrishna is a 1981 Indian Malayalam film, directed by I. V. Sasi and produced by Rosamma George. The film stars Mammootty, Rajalakshmi, Swapna and Kaviyoor Ponnamma in the lead roles. The film has musical score by Shyam. Mammootty replaced Babu Namboothiri as the hero of this film after a few days of shooting.

1980 കളിലൊക്കെ സിനിമാപരസ്യങ്ങളിൽ പലപ്പോഴും കാണാമായിരുന്ന ഒരു കാപ്ഷൻ ആണ് മനോഹര ചലച്ചിത്രകാവ്യം എന്നത്.പലപ്പോഴും ശരിയാവാറില്ല.പക്ഷെ തൃഷ്ണയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് അത് അക്ഷരാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ശരിയാണ്.തിരക്കഥയിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ കവിത കോരിയൊഴിച്ച അധികം സിനിമകൾ മലയാളത്തിലില്ല. ദൃശ്യകലയിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ സാഹിത്യം കലർത്തുന്നതിൻറെ സൗന്ദര്യാത്മക പ്രശ്നം വേറെ ചർച്ചാവിഷയം. എംടിയുടെ ആരാധകർക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമാവുന്ന രചന.

Actually..mammootty was not the first choice hero in this movie. I.V shooted this film with Babu Namboothiri as hero for some time. He didn’t like his acting & then reject Babu. Then mammootty came into scene with the recommendation of Ratheesh.

കഥ വളരെ മോശം തന്നെയാണ് മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ ചീത്തയാക്കുന്ന സിനിമ സീൻ സിനിമ മൂവി എപ്പോളും പെണ്ണിന്റ പുറകിൽ ഉണ്ടാകും ചീത്തയാക്കാനും കുട്ടിയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കാനും ലാസ്റ്റ് ആഗ്രഹിച്ച പെണ്ണ് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു പോകുന്നു. ഇതുന്നും മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ വൈഫ്‌ മക്കൾ മക്കളുടെ മക്കൾ ഇവരൊക്കെ കാണുന്നില്ലേ ഇപ്പോളും അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു സിനിമയിൽ നല്ലരു കഥ കാണില്ല സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ആൾക്കാരെ അങ്ങോട്ട്‌ പോയി കാണുന്നു വർഷം 2021ആയി.ചെറ്റ നാറി മോഹൻലാൽ സിനിമ കണ്ടു പഠിക്കുക

Thanks 4 uploading 👍 എം.ടി. സാറിന്റെ തിരക്കഥയിൽ i.v.sasi സാർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് മമ്മൂക്ക നായകനായ സിനിമ👌. 1981 ൽ റിലീസായ സിനിമ 40 വർഷത്തിനുശേഷം യൂട്യൂബിൽ അവസാനം എത്തി. പണ്ട് ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട് പിന്നെയും കാണാൻ പോവുന്നു 👍👍👍.

In 1982 I used to hear quite a bit the songs, "Mynaakamm Kadalil...." "Sruthiyil Ninnuyaroo Naada Salabangale", never knew that those are from this move. Beautiful songs. The story has good turns, dailogue is superb. A simple story with lot of complex interplay of unexpected events and emotions. Both Andhra ladies did well.

Men can't love more girls Men can enjoy with several girls Once he fall in real love then his mind, his soul can't think about another girl even up to minimum 12 years. Women doesn't need much time to set with their new partner. A gem of a film from M.T. and I.V. Sasi. The complex interplay of emotions has been wrought out in painful detail that makes the viewer gasp in agony. Mammootty shows his future prowess as an actor in this early film at the start of his career. The two women act as perfect foils in this drama of human foibles. It is a new age film that was way ahead of its time.

The birth of mammotty legend. Influence of Soman, Jayan and sukumaran visibl. Mammoty changed a lot over the years. Strong script and direction. Mallika sukumaran as Tamil woman and premji as Rau Bahadur nice. Das, as a spoilt playboy is superb. Swapna as a spoiled girl is better than clara.

ഈ തലമുറയിലെ ആളാണെങ്കിലും പഴയ സിനിമകൾ ഒരുപാട് പ്രിയമാണ്. എന്തൊരു സുഖമാണ്. സ്വപ്നയുടെ കഥാപാത്രം വളരെ ഭംഗിയായി അവർ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. കുറേ കൂടി പരിഗണന അവർക്ക് മലയാളസിനിമയിൽ കിട്ടേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തോന്നിപ്പോയി.അത്രക്കും തൻമയത്തം.

During RATHEESH's demise MAMMOOTY was not present.....then IV SASI spoke to media persons "MAMMOOTTY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE TODAY WITH NO EXCUSE".....THAT MUST BE THE REASON WHY MAMMOOTTY GAVE HARD TIME TO IV SAI during the shooting location of BALRAM V/S TARADAS

@@mallutornado the only meaty role she did in MALAYALAM /any other language was P.A.BACKER's PREMALAKHANAM......She played the role of SARAMMA......a virgin girl.....M.G.SOMAN was her opposite pair......but most of the movie her pair was either RATHEESH,MAMMOOTTY or PREM NAZEER
