I agree, but I think Mat(and alot of other youtubers like him) doesn't do enough. I know he's not a qualified mechanic, but some of the work is only "good enough". I'd like to see him step it up further. A crossover like this would perhaps help him take that next step like the dri-ice cleaning, and ensuring that even though something is out of sight, it's as clean, or new looking as the rest of the build.

I’d love to see you guys tackle a wrecked exotic but if I’m honest, what makes your videos so exciting is the enthusiasm of the crew. So I would defer my vote to them. I want to see them pumped about the build way more than just plugging away at a fan favorite idea.

Could you guys take an older or wrecked 911 and give it a Singer or Gunterworks vibe with the Throtl touch? They sell over a million in some cases, and I bet you guys could pull off the look for a lot less.

Tbh I’m not sure if they could, the amount of time and money put into a singer 911 is crazy. They would be able to make something fairly similar but a real singer would be so much cooler.

Cant go wrong with a Ferrari 458 check out what my son and I are doing.....our first Ferrari and it has been a blast. Kinda difficult on our budget we pray to the youtube gods to help out but so far it comes from my Firefighter/Paramedics job. Good luck finding a project and the 355 looks great so far!!

Would love to see that 355 with a wide body and real luxurious interior. No big wings just nice and classy. Keep the green over tan. An exotic rebuild series would be cool, even though everyone is doing it right now, a throtl version would smash it 👍🏻

I like the exotic rebuild idea, a step further to me would be taking an exotic rebuilding it to be similar to something you can see on the trans Am racing or road and track racing inspired.

Evan implying Throtl would buy a wrecked exotic and fix it, has all sort of B is for Build vibes....which is not bad! I'm still loving the usual Throtl series and would love to see another old car get transformed and upgraded, but fixing a wrecked exotic is always interesting as well. In any case - can't wait to see what's in store!!

Glad you’re completing the Ferrari. Love to see a new custom interior like the other one. Change of color on the top as well bc it doesn’t match. Would love to see a rebuild of an exotic. Porches are great but aren’t the parts hard to get? A done up 996 would be cool. They get so much hate bc of their different looks.

Hi Throtl, my name is Marcellus Dove and I'm from South Africa. Many people do exotics yes and its nice but I really believe you guys have a major chance to stand out. The thought that crossed my mind was around finding, older racing cars with pedigree and great history, that were mildly damaged and come back and tell us their stories and build on getting the most desirable vehicles. These cars could be anything from Japanese, race or drift cars, DTM racing classes, to NASCAR, to old rally cars meaning anything that is special. that would make for awesome stories, content and opportunities to partner and add a throttle twist on bringing them back to former glory. You may even tap into broader audiences and grow your business

Definitely want to see the Ferrari finished and then would like to see a trade up into a beginner exotic but instead of a wrecked one, I would suggest maybe a blown engine one where y’all do a swap with a setup like the Supra or viper.

If you would've paid any form of attention, you would realize they didn't trade the car. They are using it as a platform to see if they want to trade the Ferrari for a wrecked version. Or something else for them to rebuild. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'd like to see a resto-mod of an exotic. Keeping the old school styling, but with an engine from a newer model, fully worked and tuned, OEM interior but re-trimmed in modern materials, morimoto headlights, OEM style wheels custom made for more modern and aggressive offset etc You guys get the idea.

Absolutely love the MC20! Seen a few of these in person. So Nice! Great video guys! If you were going to take a wrecked super car, I would go with a car with minimum damage. You have to remember, a wrecked Hurrican, you can find yourself $100k in parts alone. You have to order parts from Italy or find parts that are readily available to you guys locally or in the tri state area (CA/NV/AZ/OR). But newer Lamborghini / Ferrari parts will cost a tonnnnn of cash. You want to find something that has minimum damage that you can find easily and get the parts installed while adding flare. I used to own a Lotus Elise. The thing was amazing. I wanted to upgrade to an Exige but never did. I sold my Elise to help pay for a custody battle of my 5 year old son at the time that I won. The engine parts are hella cheap because they are Toyota. But the body on a Elise/Exige are still up there price wise with a clam shell. But nothing near the price of a Lambo or Ferrari parts. But my point is, the Lotus Exige holds the value like no other. They still fetch $60-80k used. If you found a wrecked Exige, that wouldn't be a hard project for you guys to work on. You got one front clam shell and a rear clam shell with the aluminum frame and engine. You wouldn't be killing the bank on parts and you can do a nice flip to make that $$. Just if you pick an Exige, you have to get me out to CA form PA so I can see it and ride in it in person ;) Just saying. Love your stuff guys. Keep up the good work.

Leave the new Lambos and Ferraris to DDE and the Mclaren to Tavarish and go for something else. My vote will be Lexus! Guess a LFA is out of budget thought but any Lexus will be fine. 😃

3:20. I thought of adjustable tint glass like 30+yrs ago. When I seen auto darkening glasses 👓 ...If a cop pulls you over, you just push a button to untint your windows.

I really do like the idea of challenging yourselves to updating Ferrari with some modern touches. Maybe you can do a custom interior with new touch screens and such. Heck, put the dash from a newer Ferrari in there?!?

@throtl I believe Lexus is one of the only other brands that developed the opaque sunroof technology into a production RX as an option….would be nice if more brands did it, but usually it ends up being a luxury option that sells before it hits the dealership lot

Fun fact, the dual clutch transmission in the MC20 is the same as the Corvette C8

İ was here to say the same thing 😅. İ worked as a prototype mechanic at tremec at the time of the development of both the c8 and the mc20. The bell housing and gearing ratio's are a bit different but essentially it's the same transmission.

Keep trading up to crazier and crazier or starting over with a muscle car trade up to newer muscle cars as a Vin Diesel trade up series could be cool. Also, can you show the numbers when doing the trade ups more? It just makes it seem more real like people can actually do this.

I think with the ferrari people want it very classic and stocky for collector purpose. But rather I think they should put air bags and do a red wrap, white rim. I see you wanna get the most out of it first though. Get someone to do custom upholster stitch, carbon fibre console.
