The birth of Jesus in Matthew 1:18-2:23 contains many symbols and stories we often associate with feel-good Christmas imagery, traditions, and songs. However, there is so much more packed into this account. As we study, we see how Jesus’ birth fulfills prophecy, teaches us about true worship, and shows us how God wants to meet us where we are.

Thank you for you and your team's efforts to bring Bible truth to this misguided world. As I drove to the church yesterday evening, I thought it was like going to see a major event. Then I realized in my short time watching and attending, I do experience the gatherings as a family of believers, coming together just as we are, to a sanctuary of truth; the Word well-preached and illuminated. It is a major event, and family reunion of sorts. The study refreshes after spending the day in the lies and fear other information sources spout. When I believed them, my life went into a ditch. Have to say, I absolutely admire your zeal as an 18 yo to quantify the mystery of the Holy Trinity. I had returned to belief at 30 after my BF at the time brought me to his church. I thought I had figured it out and he challenged me to explain. Of course, I couldn't. It was one of those conversations where I started out strong and then trailed off much like the Monty Python knights of Née. ....ferndee, ferndee. Praying God's protection and provision for the team and all of the believers, especially to those seeking to leave deception behind. I now seek the peace of Christ over pleasure of thinking I am right and having to prove it. I know that each person needs and seeks for themselves and God knows the difference. Special thanks to the person who answered my question "Is this seat available?" with the words, "It's for you." Blessings to you all.

It's been about a year since I found you 😃 I always look forward to Wednesday, Saturday, and the first Friday of the month... I have found you to be a big blessing, I thank Father for you almost every day 🤭 I have found myself binging on the videos while studying the books I my Bible y , I am disabled , and I have been sending the grandkids to Sunday school at a little church down the road.. before that I was laying in my bed and doing Sunday school with them at home.... I miss teaching them , however I still do talk about father in detail every chance I get with them..I do believe they love Jesus as much or more then me...and they ask questions about father daily....I Love Jesus..I have 4 of my grandbabies, and my mother is a huge blessing at 75 she helps me answer their questions 😁 and loves every second of it 💯 I look forward to meeting everyone in the sky 🌤️

For the total solar eclipse in 2017, I took my son (13 years old) out of school to go to my parent's house, 2 hours drive away, to view it. Awesome 👍! We viewed it on a gorgeous day, just barely off the path of totality. Completely worth it!

Athey Creek is my church. Pastor Brett is my pastor. I pay my tithes to this church. And I live in Las Vegas, NV. I pray I'll end up in Portland one day but until then, I'm happy to attend online. And I'm so very grateful for the opportunity. Thanks so much to Brett and the team of leadership at Athey Creek for staying faithful to our Saviour and Holy Scripture in a time when so many others are veering off track.

The ⭐. I have no beef with the "star of Bethlehem" presentation, the way I see it, God created the heavens and the earth, the sun moon and stars for signs along with other reasons. I think it's perfectly plausible that God used His heavenly bodies to show the sign, even if it was just to reiterate that everything will be fulfilled in God's perfect timing, and that He is in control of everything

Brett, so love what you say in your Bible Study! I would like to turn in a requet. Would you be able to set up a taping that could have your Bible studies as a round robbin (8, 10, 12 hour) version. I have nightmares often and when I play a round-robbin I am covered through the night no matter how long I sleep. Hearing your Bible studies throughout the night would be fantastic. Would you consider this on your annual meeting? Oh, also, your bands would also be another great shield against the darkside, on my part, to help with nightmares, insomnia, etc. Anyway, love what you are doing. Thanks for all the effort you put into your classes.

Hi pastor, there is a statement that you made that is troubling me and if you would, I would like to hear your explanation or reason as to why you think or believe it? The statement in this video was @1:06:44 thru 1:6:49 "that was an old testament appearance of Christ himself" speaking of Melkisedek. Thank you for at least reading and considering answering. I like teachers not preachers, but pastor brett is only preacher I listen to. He is a good story teller, but few question here? - does Christian pop culture confuse us to take things too literal - was it a sign in heaven or star announcing the birth of Jesus so the Wiseman knew when to travel - If it marked the spot where he was, why did the Wiseman stop to ask for directions from king Herod - If Herod had access to bible prophecy along with the Wiseman, why would they not know where to look - Do you get your name in life from where your parent were born or your self, was it Jesus of Bethlehem, Jesus of Egypt or Jesus of Nazareth - why would they stay in Bethlehem for a few years if this was a stop over spot to give birth - why does Pastor brett say Jews were hated in Egypt, wasn't the Septuagint from there ? Or why would god send them to a place dangerous towards Jews?

What about the blood covenant created when Jesus was born of a virgin. A blood covenant takes place when a virgin comes together with a man. Jesus being born of a virgin would have established a blood covenant between God and man.

Do you know that the blood of Jesus is on the ark of the covenant is buried understand Golgotha where Jesus was crucified it's in what's know as Jeremiah's grotto. When Jesus was crucified there was a earthquake also a centurion pierced his side with a spear at the same time it ran down his leg the blood and through the crack and landed on the top of the ark of the covenant.

I thought Bethlehem was a stop over spot, and mary was forced to birth there,,,,, why would the Wiseman come upon them 2 years later ?

The trinity. god the creator outside of space time unable to be perceived or understood by humanity. god the spirit, an emotional and non physical presence capable of interacting with humans on a perceivable lvl. God the son a physical manifestation of god able to be seen and understood by man. all the same consciousness not the same form god likes to be extravagant so he divided his power up kinda like paint brushes god the father is a paint roller creating reality out of nothing with a snap of his fingers the Holy Spirit moves the world along more delicately shaping humanity on a cultural lvl and Jesus is the paint pen 1 on 1 direct with the individual. God delights in the amazing could he just have a floating light for the wise men to follow yes sure possible but I’d be willing to bet when he put the stars In Motion he timed them Out like a watch ready to tick at a perfect speed to perfectly match his time line with humanity

I don't agree with Solomon in Proverbs, when he says that wisdom is desirable above all other things. I think he would have done better to ask God for humility instead of wisdom.

Sir, Not ya Zeus, but Jesus is pronounced heyzeus in Spanish, Mexican, which is Jesus, just pronounce differently in another language.. not the same god in Greek and Roman provinces.
