I’m so glad that you added the wonderful forgiving grace of Christ in more depth to your message tonight when you spoke of abortion . Jesus who HATH ( past tense ) removed our sins as far as the East is from the West ! Praise His wonderful name ! I would share your online sermons with a dear friend whom I love in the Lord . A relatively new Christian . Lately she admitted each time she would listen she felt so guilty when you bought up abortion . On re listening to a couple I forwarded to her I agreed that there could have been more attention put on Jesus and His amazing saving grace . Romans tells us , There shall be now no condemnation for those who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit . I was so thankful tonight having heard you make the focus on forgiveness ! During our walk with the Lord we all need to learn to put on the whole armour of God , Ephesians tells us when we have done all to stand - stand therefore, that’s it , Jesus has done it all . We all need to put Him on as a garment and walk in the light as he is in the light and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness . We need to learn how to : Cast down imaginations and every high thing that exhorts itself above the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of God! We have to know we have the mind of Christ now . When we learn to cast down and put on we can stand when the devil try’s to remind us of our past sins . I thank God that it’s no longer I that liveth but Christ that liveth in me ! Out of the mouth the heart speaketh and confession is made unto salvation . Our confession needs to be - He HATH raised us up together and made us sit together IN Christ Jesus , when we confess these scriptures there is no room for Satan to get a hold of us . We need to blow our trumpet we are members of His body of His flesh and of His bone, and know we are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might . Everything is in Him! Thank you for the word pastor Brett for your knowledge of the history of the law , prophesy and the truth of the amasing gospel of grace . We need this knowledge as it is instruction to the wise , all these thing are an ensamples….. . unfortunately knowledge has gone from many churches today . All praise and glory be to God through Christ “for in Him we live and move and have our being”!

Thank you for saying that to us women who had an abortion. Many times I have felt like I was not forgiven and felt so bad for doing what I did. I have asked God to forgive me and cried so many tears. I did not feel bad until I had 2 other children and my husband was killed. We both were of us were young and did not realize that we would end up together and have 2 other beautiful children. I carried this guilt for years. I also realized looking back it was pride, that caused me to have an abortion. I came from a Christian home and was scared to tell my mom and dad. A few months after the abortion my mom found the paperwork and asked my husband (BF at the time) and he who never could lie told her. My mom did not shame me, but just her knowing shamed me. It was 25 years later that I gave what I did to God and finally let God forgive me. I thought it was no big deal because it never bothered me until I really got close to the lord. We all make choices that are not good or Godly even us Christians, we don't have to carry that guilt or shame with us we are forgiven! Thank you, for telling us that we are. I now feel free to let it go and help others not make this mistake.
