St. Elmo Harrison of Whigham, Georgia, celebrated his 100th birthday on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022. This year he wrapped up harvesting his 71st peanut crop of 35 acres. Through the years, St. Elmo has seen many changes within agriculture from helping his dad plow peanuts with a mule to the equipment used today. When asked about his love for farming, he simply said, "It is in my blood."
