Nope, I watched Ice Castles with Robbie Benson and I remember I cried like crazy in this scene. I missed my dad who took all the family to the movies every Sunday. RIP dad!

Good Memories This movie was playing on a Eastern plane when I was a frequent traveler. I told a pianist friend of mine how I enjoyed the music score from the movie and he always played this for me when I would see him perform.

Back then when I was young, I watched this movie on TV and this make me cried me a little bit.. This Ice Castle always be my good memory, after the movie I tried to find the song when internet still the rare thing back then, I asked everybody and just found the song after a month.. Haha good memory :')

“ME TOO” - I’m obsessed with finding this love song version by artist Britt NICOLE - But I can’t find this version anywhere except on KZfaq - Originally I truly believed that Melissa MANCHESTER’s rendition could never be equaled or surpassed - Britt’s version may not have surpassed it , but agreeably it unquestionably exists in a class of its own - By far just as memorable and emotional as the original was intended for - I love Melissa but BRITT is my “now” version for sure !❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

I am still remember this movie. These are the time Hollywood made a beautiful romantic movie without any heavy. sex scene. Yet you can feel theses lovers care for each other. I love the last part that Robby. Benson says, “ I forgot the flowers.” And takes her hand to navigate on the ice.

I agree. The original is so simple yet perfect. Why not just make a brand new movie rather than trying to remake one that was too good to ever improve upon?

@JD-72191 remaking movies is as old as Hollywood itself. Silent movies were remade into talkies. Then remade into color. Then remade for TV

The reality is most people don’t watch older movies, so the remakes are new to them. (And sometimes the remake is better than the original.)

Didn't know there was a remake. I loved the original 1978 movie. I'll watch it but I hope I am not disappointed like I was about The Cutting Edge: Going for the Gold. That movie was just terrible.

Of course the original will always be the best, hands down. But I'll be honest, I really enjoyed the remake. Song and movie. The skating to me was, more diligent, painstaking it seemed. Great to watch. Bottom line, they both get ☆☆☆☆☆ 🙂

I don't get why they remake great movies like this (1978 version) It's the same with the original Blue lagoon movie with brooke shields, they made like 2 remakes and I'm like... JUST STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL!

The is one of the only remakes I like a little more than the original. I wish the 2010 soundtrack was released so we have Britt Nicole without the cheers. Both movies make me cry every single time!
