With more than 120 performances a year, Yuja Wang lives a nomadic lifestyle. Travelling the world professionally, two extra small trolley suitcases carry the essentials for a two week trip: dresses, shoes, iPad and Smartphone. Yuja leads a new generation of pianists who can play anything with comfort thanks to their phenomenal technique and strong self-confidence. "Through the Eyes of Yuja” reveals us this artist in a very personal way, equipped with a portable camera and her smartphone the film wants to be a kind of digital diary, a reflection of the image Yuja casts to the world.

there are a lot of wonderful pianists nowadays. but Yuja has a rare gift... a gift! unbelievably astonishing (despite - or regardless of- the outfits 😄)

In American culture, the job of a pianist has always been one thing - to entertain the cowboys. This is still valid, classical music plays a secondary role. The main thing for a cowboy is that a pianist should be as beautiful as his beloved mare! Dear sirs, do you know that the US has never had a Ministry of Culture?! The cultural life of this country is determined by MONEY! Therefore, half-naked pianists can appear on stage, as this brings a lot of MONEY!

@@georgescancan7503 In Algerian culture, the job of a woman has always been one thing - to entertain the cowboys and sheiks. This is still valid, supreme talent in playing classical music plays a secondary role. The main thing for an Islamist is that a woman should be as submissive to a man as his beloved camel he has sex with.

We don’t have a secretary of culture ( as opposed to Minister.) We do have an Endowment for the Arts on the federal gov. Level.
